Dealing with a JDM swapped engine and am getting a p1336 code once in a while after doing the wiring bypass. Would it be possible to swap the factory oil pump onto the jdm motor? Or could it just be a crappy wiring issue on my part?

The Connector is only $19.99 in amazon as of today. With the replacement of the connector you dont't have to take the door panels apart so that saves you a little bit of time.

I was able to find u joints on Amazon that have been working for years now. The factory ones are a staked style and the new ones have an inside c clip. The center bearing is the only non serviceable item on the shaft

I once got maxpeedingrods coilovers for my 1991 Integra, I ended up getting the special edition ones that come pre-blown out the box 📦 I contacted Mmaxpeedingrods and they gave me the finger. I had video proof of the unboxing and they couldn’t help with a replacement. Got shafted good but you live and you learn 👍 you get what you pay for. The worst part is people receiving junk for free, stoked so they keep promoting, enticing unsuspecting people into buying junk as well.

There is a special universal spong rubber seal to replace at the cowl, without installing that metal plate there, the one I got is called MD black spong window seal 1/4 thick and 1/2 width, I installed it at my cowl, and of course I cleaned any debris specially under bottom of the windshield (it is a water canal under there, when clogged by dirts, allow water to buildup and fall into cabin air canal), and no more leak at all, even at car wash, problem solved permanently and with a professional fix, of course I hade to replace the cowl rivets holders with new ones, because the old ones got broken most of them at removal, and are available at Amazon, top ones are different from bottom ones, that way before I start fixing the problem, I bought those rivets first, in case of one or more got broken, don't take any chance.

2002 civic 220k miles bought a few months ago for 500$ timing belt and water pump were done before purchase and she runs and drives pretty good with kicker speakers all around, leaked oil from valve cover and plug and vvt solenoid and fixed all those and she leaks no more but still feels sluggish like she has loss of power. going to try and replace the cat here soon to see if that help. other than that i’ve done sparks plugs and oil every 3k and fixed the muffler which was rusted off. great car so far hoping the trans and head gasket hold up. trans does shift a little rough

Also have a 2000 5 speed with a blown head gasket, I soooo very much want to make it like yours! 💙

Another issue water leaks comes from front hood cable through the fender into the cabin room. There is one hole with rubber seal. The rubber getting worn and cracked. Mine was solve once I recover by dismantling fender and pouring water from roof. And another way is coming from sunroof drain pipe. The pipe is going inside the cabin and way out by the joint is located inside the cabin. You may found behind the aircond motor blower. Hope this will helps those who are looking for solution.
