Been looking for what seems like forever, and I finally found the place I am going to call home on Ultima Online. Insane UO has all the great features I was looking for and expanded on them with a great staff and friendly players. Come join me!

I tried UO Alive a while back and can't seem to log back in. My main shard is Outlands but a part of me wants to try what retail is like. I believe Insane UO is similar to retail? I really would like to see some more videos regarding Insane UO. Definitely some more new player tutorial stuff if you are of a mind to do that kind of thing? Outlands is so busy right now i dont even want to play it sometimes. Not to mention being unable to log in sometimes. Great videos man i really am enjoying them.

Glad you're enjoying yourself! I appreciate all the kind words and we do have a great team running things! Don't forget about the craftable Jade Dragons for those who love both crafting AND taming. We also recently made some BOD book changes to allow easier BOD collection/organizing on top of the BOD point banking changes we made initially. The Insane Scroll Archive was a brainchild of mind for a very long time that I was happy to finally bring into existence :) There's a ton of other little cool things too that often get missed by new players, such as Purple Llama mounts (cast EV and target yourself), "useless" skill improvements such as Poisoning/TasteID for immunity, Item ID for property weights, much faster Mirror Images, and plenty more! Also, you won't want to miss our 3 custom champ spawns: Ramrod (with everyone's favorite Shazzy special Evil Spellbooks), Davy Jones (a very unique spawn on the water), and Master of Elements (the brainchild of two of our players with challenging environmental effects and not just one boss, but 5 bosses in random order). We try to make content for every type and skill level of player and we're constantly adding more! Thanks again for the kind words and truly hope it is your "forever" home in UO! :)

Oh! Also, if you put a Power Scroll book (or Alacrity or Transcedence book) that has scrolls already in it in your backpack, the COLLECT option will take all the scrolls out of those books and put them into your Insane Scroll Archive ;)

I dont like nothing over UOR, but there is many shards out there for sure. Ive played em all from Outlands, Forever, Felucca, LOC, UOSA, UO Unchained, Alive, and much more. Long as your happy with where you are is what counts. Like im on Lost Lands kick now, its T2A of course not many people find it viable but its the era I like the most. Only a few of those out there that are T2A accurate and not overloaded.

Ya the pop isn't quite as big as the other ones, but so far they have been very responsive when there is champ spawns or events to do. Also have been very helpful with places like Temp House helping the newer players and hooking up people to make sure they dont start naked in the woods. I'm Goldfish in game if you ever wanna hit me up! I'll see what I can do to get you started !

It shouldn't be overly surprising with the ammount of work they have put into every aspect of it to make it a completely custom experience.....also a new expansion just dropped. Im sure the player base is ALL coming back right now for that if they were taking a break of any kind.

You are playing on insane uo for couple of days and you title your video as " finally found a home for 2024" that's strange. Maybe it's because you're edited? How many people are playing here? 10?

It checks all the things I love on a shard and has really open dev team that listens. The player base, while smaller, is much more than 10 and all very friendly. It was easy to tell I'd be playing here a long time

Outlands does seem booming with people. I'm just not into the zerg pk fests personally.

@@GymnasticGoldfish they might as well call Outlands Redlands. It caters to reds more than anything I’ve ever seen. They literally have no penalties. Pay a small fee of gold , can be back in dungeons killing again in 15 minutes.

It seems somewhat fun but I honestly can't put uo outlands down. What end-game systems do they have on Insanity? Because it really seems like they set you up nicely to start out with on Insanity.

insane UO has a lot of feature that the Original UO that I still play that need to implement to the original game. the original UO we pay $14.99 a month that the DEV pretty much abandoned nothing has changed in the game and it has became dull compared to the insane UO

Honestly most of the player base is awesome over there. I just got tired of the overly condescending way the staff talk to the players. It's ridiculous. At the end of the day it just wasn't worth it to me to invest any more time or money at a place I was constantly feeling belittled.
