This is actually a really interesting idea. With Frieza being reintroduced as a villain at the end of the Granolah arc, Goku going through some Iron Giant type crap and remembering what Frieza did would be an amazing way to give Goku another power up, maybe being able to further his MUI to a much higher level to kill Frieza once and for all, even with his new Black form.

You’re onto something and I congratulate you, let that imagination fly. Ps Edit Suggestion: When Goku transforms, utilize Gohans SSJ2 transformation as reference, pure emotion hasn’t been conveyed better, the drama, score and camera angles leading up to the red line flashing through Gohans head followed by the bird is exactly the type of drama this might need. In Dragon Ball Super he still has so much affection for the human grandpa that raised him that he acts out the moves to their fight when he was a kid. Meanwhile he has access to hell and heaven and has not once bothered to learn about his saiyan parents.
