Finally Got My GhostHorse!

At long last, I have finally received my Epiphone Brendon Small GhostHorse Explorer guitar from Sweetwater! That's right, the Ace Who Plays Bass is playing a guitar un this video... again. I ordered this back in January of this year and has been backordered until now. In this video, I do an unboxing and I jam out a little play test of this new guitar. Can't wait to write some riffs with this thing! So excited!

I got this one and loved it. Thje switch would not work right. I had already bought a hard shell $300 case for it and gave the zipper case to a friend at the American Legion. I said send me a switch and I will solder it myself. It came and was a 5 pronged plug and the one in the guitar was only 4,. I am not shipping it back in a hard case so you can fix it and send it back in a zipper case. So they sent me another one and said switch them out. I did just that and I'll be damned. It is jacked up too but the wood is to book matched so now I have non matching top and same issue. I took it to my luythoier friend and he did a SwitchCraft and pout in a tine knob. I HIGHLY recommend a tone klnob. You have no idea what you are missing if you don't.

Ooh yeah,! A Ghost horse - Show me wut you Got!! 🗿 I learned to play "the Duel" from the musical Doomstar Requiem, all year ago. I still ain't got it down pat. It's Be sweet to have someone to play the other part though, at the and time. It's the greatest isolated guitar solo since Eruption (and it's NOT actually a "solo"... it's a "Duet")

Does your have a problem with humming? Like you have to touch the strings or it buzzes?

Sorry for the delayed response. Yea, I get a humming sound when I'm not touching the strings. I am able to remedy that by hooking up my Decimator pedal. I may still have my tech look at it, though

That is a good question. They call it a "Galaktikon Burst." In most lightings, I see a sliver/gray finish with maybe a hint of blue. But in my office, it gave off a bit of a purple hue. I love it, though. It gives off major space vibes 🤘🖤🤍💜🌌
