I think I had legit cried when first seeing You Are too.. it’s just so beautiful. Also.. I’ve had this saved for the longest time so.. I’m going to leave it here. You may already know all this, but just in case… The triangle necklaces are taken from GOT7’s own friendship necklaces, which are also in triangle shapes, but the real ones have things on it that describe every member. ✨ JAY B - A Palm Tree (which is a signature for his music crew “Paradise”) ✨ Mark - XCIII (his birth year, which is 1993) ✨ Jackson - Wang (the Chinese character for his last name) ✨ Jinyoung- “Can’t take it when I’m gone” (one of his fav quotes) ✨ Youngjae - “ARS” (his signature logo for his music) ✨ BamBam - A snake (cuz Bam sounds like the Korean word for snake. It’s also in the color of the Thai flag, cuz he’s Thai) ✨ Yugyeom - A Dandelion flower (this is kinda his signature for his music) They got these necklaces before the song was written, so the necklaces weren’t made cuz of the MV. The concept of the MV comes from their necklaces, which they got cuz they wanted to. It wasn’t something the company got for them. Mark proposed getting the necklaces together. If you pause the MV at the static part after it shows the necklaces you will see a bird (which ofc represents the fandom) The MV is about their friendship and the paths they took to end up together. There’s some symbolism in the MV, but you have to know GOT7’s history to see it: ✨ JAY B and Jinyoung - kinda obvious. Because of JJP. They did a unit together named JJProject back in 2012 before they even debuted as GOT7. But in the MV you can see JAY B alone in the city and Jinyoung sitting by the water (which represents his hometown) but he crossed the sea to go to JAY B and create JJProject. ✨ Jackson - he looks like he’s having a hard time thinking about something, which represents him struggling to choose between 2 paths: continue fencing and represent his country in the 2012 Olympics (he was the 11th best fencer in the world), or move to Korea and become a trainee under JYP Entertainment. But he then stood by a bird in a cage, meaning he chooses Ahgases (the fans). - You might have noticed the bird cage was open, which stands for something Jackson said to fans, “You can go out and play, but make sure to come back home”. The cage is open and the bird can leave whenever it wants to, but it stays (again, the bird represents the fans). ✨ Mark and BamBam - Mark looks confused and is wandering alone, but then BamBam comes and they start walking together. They both moved to Korea from their home countries and learned to get used to the country together (Mark obviously being from California and BamBam from Thailand). They started this journey together. ✨ Youngjae and Yugyeom - Youngjae was the last one to become a trainee (he only had 7 months of training) and his dancing lacked a bit. It wasn’t as good as the other members, so he went to Yugyeom (aka the dancing machine), so that Yugyeom could help Youngjae improve his dance.

no but this era was all about their bond and friendship! others have already spoken about the meaning of the necklaces just wanted to add that this was jay b's first time writing the title track! also they filmed in Hong Kong, Thailand and Korea and the jacket photoshoot was done in LA so all the boys were represented! Bam even made the lyric video himself! i also love love love this choreography specifically when they all lay on each other and it's always the sweetest thing to them head pat each other haha (you missed it in the dance practice!)

My first comeback with them ❤❤ I remember haters were saying this thingy about Jackson quitting Got7 cuz he was doing solo stuff and GOT7 was like "7 for 7, 7 or nothing" and also this album is so good I love this song 🤗🤗💚💚💚💚💚💚💚 Ps: Youngjae in this era killed me, his hair in You Are is a must return 😢❤😅

FYI there is an amazing on stage performance of Teenager on a music show. They are in school uniforms and they do a very sexy dance break too. If you can see it and react to it that would be so awesome.

They filmed You Are in Hong Kong also. You Are has a very special meaning to me. I was having a really bad day and then on top of that it was storming outside and the wifi was having issues too. I was watching Got7 MV's to help me and praying that it would work and then it happened during You Are and I was Thank you. I made me feel so much better. I will never forget when that happened. It saved me that day mentally and spiritually and physically. So perfect and beautiful! Thank you Jay B and Got7!

youngjae has another legendary outfit in this era 😭 The hairstyle and outfit for 2017 Pyeongchang Music Festival were nice. The performance was excellent too although only 5 members attended

I was wrong. This was not the year of Jus2! It was in 2019! However this was the year of JJP(Verse 2 album/MV/ also Got7 went to LA for KCON and performed and were also hosts. 2017 was one hell of a year. Also JJP performed Tomorrow Today at LA KCON also. Epic! All of it!

Such a great album even if we didn t win. I love this era except for Mark being so skinny that he looked unhealthy. Actually they hesitated between those 2 songs as a title track.
