Its super simple, sure there are games where your opponents are just mechanical monsters, but most games are lame. Smart and accurate plays is the best thing you can do. High Gc2-SSL Is where more mechanics come into play but in the end you just use the mechanics as gateways to a simple outplay, hell, they dont even consider resets or dribbles as mechanics, its just casual

Awesome vid! I just recently hit champ 3 and noticed that the gameplay in the vid isnt too far off from how I play, I just need to work on my shot accuracy, reads on defense, and communication if I have comms. @@alltemendy5489 go for A LOT MORE DEMOS AND BUMPS! I was averaging around .2 demos per game in c3 and I looked at pros stats and each of them are averaging 2 so I changed that and it helped a ton. Another thing is fix hesitation, just go or don’t! Those are the 2 main things that easily boosted my rank

@pumtr I would say a lot of it is time in. I found myself stuck in champ for a little bit as well. Focus on winning 50s... not throwing away possession, and getting consistent touches. In 2s especially I always find myself on the bubble of GC and C3. When I'm doing those 3 things I find myself having better ranked sessions. Hope this helps!

Hey man nice on hitting gc, I’m trying to do that my self in 2s as well but a bit of advice is at 13:31 I feel like you should have half flipped and gone for your back right boost as you can see that your opponent is taking the mid left boost and your teammate is taking the back left boost and getting the back right boost after that kickoff puts you in better position and not a awkward with your teammate in one corner and may have led to you having a better backboard clear.

Hey man love the video I just hit gc in 2’s 2 things I think you should do is learn to use 1 directional air roll it will help with air dribbling and in air control and another thing is to try and implement power slide more because it can be super effective from bumps and dribbling but other than that good gameplay!

That's a great question! to be honest, I've never played with a ps5 controller. I made the switch to the ps4 controller about 2 years ago and haven't messed with anything else. I would say if you are super comfortable running the ps4 and have a lotta time on it then I would go for that! I'm always open to try stuff out, so maybe it wouldn't hurt to try? But I'm also in the camp of, whatever works best for you is what's best! Also, sorry for the delayed response... i usually try to be much quicker, I've just been outta town for the past few days! hey! thanks for checking out the vid! The things I focused on the must are focusing on good position/rotations, consistent touches on the ball, and not trying to over-do it in game! I would recommend watching back replays from losses. It will help you really see your gameplay from a different perspective. I'm improving the most consistently when I'm watching back my gameplay. i’m not too far off of you. i think my problem is being too aggressive. for example when your tm8 hit it in the corner at 4:38 i would usually push up a little too far thinking they need help. i just need to be patient like you did and not push up when that happens. that is how i got scored on most the time. if i can work that out i can get gc

I've noticed that a lot of C2-GC1 gameplay can tend to look pretty similar! there are small nuisances in the difference of play, but I bet server size has something to do with it as well.

Focus a lot on positioning and consistency! I see a lot of people who begin to develop mechanics in Diamond that leads to over challenging, and bad positioning. I'm not saying developing those mechanics is bad, but rather use them as a tool alongside of good rotations and consistency in decisions/50s to enhance gameplay. The best way to increase your positioning and I would even say decision making is to watch back some of your toughest matchups. Getting a birds-eye really helps to see how you are positioning. It also helps to see when you absolutely have to challenge, or when it might be better to challenge. If that makes sense. Hope this helps a little! Thanks for checking out the vids!
