thank you! the results are clearly extraordinary. some of the depth problems might be helped if the input drawings could include second or even third angles. this may or may not be very tricky to do, but Reallusion went from two input photos to one with Headshot (though it still helps to have a side angle). such extra angles might help the elephant's ears for instance and also make some of the monsters look less like inflatable pool items. also, to have automatic rigging operating so well is a huge time saver, not least because for most people, rigging is really tedious.

This is honestly what I am expecting a few decades from now. Almost all of the pieces are here, it will just take a lot of smart developers to put it all together in an intuitive and moddable way. NLP to parse and understand the user request, a writer-AI to draft the script, then artistic AI to convert the script into scenes, then an animation AI to make characters and move them through the scene, then finally a voice AI (like 15.ai) to voice act each character. Each of these pieces exists in isolation, it will just take a very smart team to bring it all together into one ultimate package.
@PsychShrew3 жыл бұрын
@@augustday9483 Tom Scott did a video about video titles created using GPT-3, including a script generated from one of those titles. Also I think Austin McConnell used an AI to generate a children's book then (manually) used some kind of animation generator to animate it.

I studied 3d modeling back in 2004. I can't believe how far it has come. I remember it being such a pain to layout UVs. Now, it can be done instantly, you just have to tell it where the seams will go (a few more papers down the line and I'm sure they could even figure that part out). Now, we have instant rigging too? Instant materials from a photo. We joked about having a "make movie" button when I was in school. I feel like that is going to actually happen some day.

a 3d artist could use this tool to produce a demo of a client ON THE FLY! in an hour zoom meeting for that matter where in the past it would have taken a few days at best and any changes would have to take a lot of time as well but with this you could discuss with the ciant how they want the character to move and you could work with them in real time!! the best part is you still would need traditional animation methods so your work as an artist is not over it's just been made easier to please the client and have a base to work with!!
