I don’t know if it was intentional but it looks like she created a warhammer which was developed initially in reaction to an increase in heavy armor, which would make sense when trying to shatter rather than pierce. The blunt end was used to stun or knock out the enemy while the sharp end was for grabbing, stabbing, and preventing from fleeing. If it was an intentional design choice I think it’s really cool they picked it.

As well as Chise and Elias growing closer to other people and not just focusing solely on each other. So Chise and Elias are both growing more emotionally mature
