Excellent job! But why such a messy front fender widening? Wasn't that impossible to avoid with the used tool??

If the fenders weren't that rusted then I could have pull them out with the tool. But the inner fender needed hammering because it was too strong to roll with it.

Isn’t the inner fender made of some kind of syntetic stuff that can be adjusted by heating it rather than just cutting it off at the edges? I ask this because I have the same problem with the rear fenders of my ’93 960 (coilovers around) after installing the Brembo R calipers and 18 inch rims using 225-40 tires.

Yes you can run coilovers instead of shocks and remove the leaf spring. But I wanted to keep the OE leaf spring and have the OE ride quality with lower ride height.

@@624static it will work but the lower control arm where the shock mounts are not ment to take the load of the spring. It can be used but it might brake the lower arm.
