11:10 you don't need to use coilovers because on those rear shock absorbers you can adjust the height. Currently yours are on the top you can lower them 5 cm if you need. Look on 9:44. Just disasemble the shock absorber and lower the plate to the height you want. I had these on my car and it is 10 times better than coilowers for a daily car. 😎✌ good luck and greatings from Mostar (Bosna i Hercegovina) 😎😍

Kudos 👍 to your wife. She is good at learning from you and doing some of the mechanical works herself. While others commend your content on the GTI, let's also appreciate your wife for her support in every mk3 project of yours. She is an angel. Much luv from Nigeria..

Most of the body on my mk 3 was rust free. Pretty good considering I live in wisconsin, everything gets rusty here. But I ended up having to replace the rear hatch after it rusted through on the edge just below the window. Found one from down south same color and rust free. Swapped that out , but in a couple of years I saw the paint bubbling loose in the same spot as the rust holes were. Every mk 3 I have ever seen has that same problem.

something about this specific car makes me really want a white one to match my mk7, but other white mk3's i've seen dont do it for me. has to be the black trim. I love clean hector's is but something about the black textured trim does it for me.
