What I love about Chef Matiko is what the modern knowledge of family bonding and togetherness means to him. He respects traditions, but he will not let traditional practices separate his family. All families are welcome to live and be happy. Not to be separate because of cultural practices. That is very, very important in today society. I have noticed that from watching construction in the village. Here in the US you can literally walk into a room that was under construction and eat off the floors..😊

You seem overwhelmed at this moment Matiko. My family also travels to the United States and it’s my sole responsibility to manage it all! Lol I’m a Puerto Rican but I’m also married to a white woman. My wife can’t communicate in Spanish. We take two cars everywhere we go but my wife sits in silence because of the language barriers while I have many conversations in my truck. My wife is an Angel! Soon they’ll be back here in November and my wife can’t wait because they love her so much.
