I disagree, I think the people giving up are tired of spending months or longer never being able to find anything because all the resellers cheat their way to the getting the cars first, no ordinary collector of anything would want to continue collecting if they never have a shot at anything. I've been skateboarding over 40 years, if something were to happen and I never get a chance to ride a board again or even attempt a kickflip then yeah, I would probably quit. I've been collecting diecast for almost my entire life, still have my childhood cars and tracks, every time I walk into a store it's a joke, my wife and I have resorted to calling the diecast aisle the "aisle of disappointment", it's a running joke now as we know there's nothing there but we check anyway and while we're out getting groceries or whatever " hey want to go check out the aisle of disappointment?" is the norm now.

Supers are over rated. So many other cool cars to collect. Walking in expecting to find everything you want, or super, is beyond unrealistic. I hunt nearly everyday, and still don't find a lot, but there's always something else that's cool. Great video as always Walter. Happy peg vibes.

I totally agree. I have only found 1 super in years of hunting. In all reality they are nothing more than a premium that's harder to find. If you are collecting only for the chase peices you will find yourself disappointed far too often

Those kind of folks get more upset about not finding what they want than they do get happy when they find something others might appreciate. My old job was a perfect setup. On my lunch breaks, I had multiple walmarts, targets, dollar stores, and super markets to choose from. Created a different path to hunt each time I wen tout lol. Never found something like a STH, but I did find a lot of cars that I appreciate and am happy to have collected

Albert Friedrich designed the Unimog. Over here the Aussie Army had about 1000 of them and now people buy them to turn them into campers 😊

On the Pantera, the 351 may be the cubic inch of the engine. If I'm not mistaken, the Pantera's engine was a Ford and used either the 351 Windsor or Cleveland.

The De-Tomaso was also the first amazing exotic car I seen in person. so it has memories for me. Standing at the rear, all you could see were fat tires and trailer lights.

Did some stops on way home from work yesterday. Picked a 20 pk hotwheels with the silver Porsche soyder and orange bmw m4 for the Target RLC mail in Alfa. Picked up the Transformers Optimus Rig with trailer as well as Ultra Hots Mazda Repu pickup and lastly Matchbox MBX Retro 5 pk. Another good show. Thanks.

Evening Walter and animal friends! Love the Unimog - saw my first one at a car show, they're HUGE in person, but very cool! Found some M case cars on my way home from work, got the Quick Bite Milk n Cookies and some others. Super excited for that next wave of Boulevards! They NEED to bring back a Boneshaker for the Boulevards, haven't seen one since #1 - I think that would be cool. I also recently found the Barbie Myers Manx Monster Truck, that was a fun find! But, I'm MOST excited for the upcoming Batman NFT launch on the 20th!! Remember to play, they're toys after all. Happy hunting everyone!

The Pantera came with a Ford 351 cubic inch engine. There were 2 351ci engines available from Ford during the same time period, the Windsor and the Cleveland, I'm not sure which was used in the Pantera. I'm not sure of HWs reasons for putting 351 on the door of the red one, but it might have something to do with the engine.

People are giving up on collecting due to it being too get mainlines and premiums. You have thieves. You live in a areas that are less populated. Plus social media is faster than you going all over the place to find these die cast cars. It hasn’t always been that way. We have more selfish people in the world today. You used to be able to go to Walmart and finds a zamac cars , but now you have people who will buy them all up to resale. We need to stop supporting these people. Average collectors just want to go to the store and buy what they want. We need to stop making excuses for these people. Selfish is selfish no matter how you put it. So it’s not enjoyable. Love your channel because you’re positive and you truly hunt. You find what you need. And don’t scalp. Everyone doesn’t have the ability to hunt all crazy hours. We have real jobs, this is for the scalpers, thieves and resellers. But it’s worse now and not getting better. But this is not on you. Mad props and blessings unto you bro

The people who announce they are leaving the hobby because they cannot find Super Treasure Hunt or other chase vehicles have zero effect on me. They and I do not share a hobby. I take that back. Those people leaving the hobby does affect me. They are usually the same people who moan and cry about so-called scalpers. Those people annoy me. I wish diecast companies would just do away with chase vehicles. Too much of a priority is placed on acquiring them. Some people are only in it to get as many Super Treasure Hunts or chase vehicles as they can. I joined an Auto World collecting group on Facebook. The only think people there were interested where the chase vehicles. Autoworld is unique in that regard in that their chase vehicles are actually inferior to the main vehicles. They're painted all red and have white tires. Compared to that, the main vehicles are better looking. All I saw on the Facebook group were pics of red vehicles with white tires.
