I think it's a final fest teaser as well I think they might go all out and have it happen on in a dessert like a music festival. A kin to cochella or someting to have all the idols perform and be seen. I think I'd be cool if they rotate who's performing on one stage to keep this lobby small. It'd be awesome and a way to see all the idols and their music without having to pay for the dlc. I'm not sure if they'd do that for the whole thing, but maybe for the second day with the projections/ screens of their performances on this "Coachella" stage so the current plazas/ lobby don't feel that empty on the 2nd day with the idols gone. Or it may just keep the players there for the 2nd day all together.

One thing I really like about the Mint Deactivator is that it’s literally a sword in a sheath. You take the sword out of the sheath. That is something we’ve never seen before and i’m here for it. Not only that, but the design being based after a toothbrush is god-tier creativity, I never would’ve expected they’d use it yet it works so well

I think it's actually bamboo with Kraken. CRB seems to get chumps. This is based on the overhead footage. You can see a kraken harassing the crab tank in upper mid. Something also shoots out a bunch of chumps in the same area.

For green team: Custom range blaster - kraken Bamboozler - super chump Hydra - splattercolor screen (sorry hydra mains) New splatana - big bubbler (was used at the very top of the map, got broken by kraken) For magenta: Heavy edit - crab tank Douser dualies - triple ink strike Recycle brella - triple splashdown New stringer - ultra stamp Honestly kinda shocked they showed that, but it was fun trying to sus out each one

Unironically, I was so surprised to see the Mint Decavitator, I've been maining the Splatana Wiper since Day 1 of Splatoon 3, and seeing this new Splatana may become my new secondary weapon with that far charge step and wide horozontal slash at the end! It mostly depends on how the stats are, the trailer makes it seem similar to the Stamper, but I'm still hoping it's at least a good middle ground between the Wiper and the Stamper stat-wise

From what I see, the stringer is one that can shoot five bombs if you let it charge up enough but you could already tell that, the new wiper which looks like it is only horizontal but I think it has a further dash, and thankfully the new map isn't a hallway.

For specials on green side I saw big bubbler , screen , Super chumps and Kraken. So Hydra, Range, Bamboo and mint decavitator have any of these specials. Pink side I saw Ultra Stamp(During The Top Over view Part that was really fast), ink strike(same part as ultra stamp) ,triple splash down and crab tank. So Heavy edit, dousers, recycled brella and wellstring v have any of these specials

Weather or not I get into ether the wellspring or the decavitator heavily depends on the kit. If wellspring gets Squid Beakon (c liter players will know why) and Tenta missiles, then that will be my excuse to become an anchor (I can’t use chargers at all) If the decavitator gets splat bomb (my favourite sub weapon in the game) and inkjet (which could synergise overpoweringly well with that long charge/lunge attack because you can use it to dodge the attack of anyone trying to punish your recal) then I will find a new main weapon. (Fingers crossed both happen)
