I also tried a DIY by removing the entire plastic panels and applying some foam tape. But I still find new rattles from all around the car. The entire plastic components used in the car are under par quality. They rattle if not they squeak. It takes away the premium feeling. Apart from these rattles, the car is a gem to drive

Same pinch… I am observing the fix, let’s see how soon it rattles again. For now it seems fine. I have driven car 665kms today to jaisalmer.

The worst of all service centres is the one in Okhla. I have been facing this issue, along with others such as squeaking sound from brakes, but they are never able to diagnose any issue. Horrible experience whenever I visit the service centre.

Yeah they are careless. They don’t even acknowledge there is any noise.

God they really messed up their reputation man.whats the point of compromise in quality to keep the price low if it doesn't make the customer happy anyways. Back then vw was much better though feature less,car were sturdy and tank like build. Now they are ruining everything.

hello sir! i have Virtus GT in which i've started to get the rattling noise from passenger side door, i dont know whether if it is the window rattling or its the door beading. When i lower the window a bit, the sound is reduced, What should I do in this case? Last time when I told the SC about this they simply cleaned the beadings which didn't solve it

Hi Vedant, Open the door and try to diagnose by tapping at different places. Because SC doesn’t spend time on proper diagnosis. If it was due to window channel then it would have increased when you roll down the window. For Door beading, you can observe the rattle on uneven roads. In Taigun they applied anti friction tape on upper side of door well which reduced the noise but i am not sure same issue is present in virtus. Try to find out is it metal to metal or metal to plastic noise.

That's the problem, I am unable to identify whether it is metal on metal or plastic nosie, It sounds more like metal on metal kinda of noise, will get it diagnosed again soon!@@Iammohitmothsara

Also what kind of tape should I use? And is brake noise issue solved for you or does it still occur? @@Iammohitmothsara

No solution on brake noise. You can use any foam based double tape which can provide some insulation. You don’t need peel off both side of tape. We are applying tape just for insulation not for binding them together.

Thanks. I have few questions. I experience rattles from both side (silver panels) of AC console while going through rough tarmac. If i hold right side panel (right side of wireless charging space) then noise goes off. If i dont hold it tight with my hand, noise comes back Also, some rattling noise comes from dashboard (behind ac vents of touchscreen) but not able to pinpoint exact location. Can you guide more. Thans

I also experienced noise on upper part which got eliminated with felt tape at lock and observe that gap between trims is consistent sometime lock doesn’t fit properly and rattles. For area near wireless charger, please try to observe source of noise, if rattles comes from AC panel then also feels the same when pressing left or right side of wireless charger. Please try to investigate by taping where it is coming from and then only we can reach to the conclusion. I have been through all these suspects but eventually ended up with AC panel.

every car has its disadvantages and advantages, it doesn't mean that you shouldn't buy them, just like how you have your dislikes against VW/Skoda cars, that doesn't mean everybody would have it. Tell me which brand offers a car with decent performance,safety and ride quality in this segment?

@@bhuwanchandra2066 for sure it has more reliability as it is a honda, but everyone knows it doesn't provide that level of driving experience and performance which VW/Skoda cars do, I am not saying that it is bad, It is a good car for those who choose reliability as their priority. it's just my opinion on it just like how you have your opinion on it :)

@@vedantbhalgama3531 i have driven elevate in test drive. Cant do much rubber burning but recently i have seen a drag race with seltos Diesel which in itself a torquey engine car and it dusted seltos badly. So 1.5ivtec is a good performance car.
