Jesus Christ finally a S22 review! You're one of the few people covering the regular S22 ! All the reviews are just for the Plus and the Ultra which is mind blowing to me.... It's like people with small hands don't exist anymore! Not everybody wants to carry a fricking brick. I have the Galaxy S10e and it's 5.8 inches and it's considered compact!! I can barely hold it in my hands. I wanna change it coz the battery life is so terrible now I have to charge it 3 times a day. I'm considering the S22 (even though 6.1 inches is not compact at all!!!) coz the other option for a compact phone is just the 13 mini but I don't wanna switch to Apple.

I have a s10e as well love this phone I have big hands but I just never thought phones should be big. I think Samsung pushes the other phones because they make more on them because all 3 are very similar. But I'm so glad they went down in size and had so many discounts.

You shouldn't worry about it. Its like 4mm bigger then the S10e. Think of it was if your phone is all screen. If you want the see yourself just google "S10e measurements" and "S22 measurements".

@@kccooper9962 You're not gonna notice 18grams. Take like the phone and 2 pencil. You get used to it pretty fast. The 13Mini while being a beautiful phone, trust me it's gonna be too small. 6.1 inches without bezels is fine size and it is compact by today standards. Just Google "S10e iPhone 13 mini and S22 size comparison"

Battery on most Samsung phones actually gets better overtime thru Software Updates, S22 is still very new after months of usage I think the battery should get better

Hey bud, cheer up, the Galaxy S22 will get better overtime especially with software updates, the phone isn't officially out yet and like with most galaxy phones they need a week or 2 to adapt to your usage which improves battery optimization.

@@Young_Dab Software updates wont increase the battery capacity. The main reason for my interest in the S22 (not plus or ultra) is the compact size, a 1st class camera and a great battery. It would seem an impossible ask. I dont understand why smartphone manufactures are so obsessed with thin / slim. An extras couple of mms on the thickness and it could accommodate a 4500mA hr battery. (The overall thickness is dictated by the camera "bump" .. why not lose the bump, and just make the whole body a little thicker?) Extra thickness will also make the phone more rigid.

the bigger tec reviewers are "motivated" by the manufacturers to concentrate on the ultra model, so there are significantly higher profit margins. Furthermore, these reviewers have long since lost touch with reality, they can only with difficulty or not at all understand the needs of a normal consumer.

I ordered the black s22 snapdragon and I have big hands but am tired of large phones, I even had the ultra on pre order but canceled it for the smaller one as it’s the same size as my iPhone 12pro and I know that because of you so thank you again. Still can’t believe no one is doing videos on this phone, it looks perfect. I believe most people will make it though the day on a charge, I don’t have any social media or games so it’s just for pictures and text messages with my brothers .

I'm in the same boat as you. I have had the past two Ultra versions and I even have a Pixel 6 Pro now, but I pre ordered the regular S22. I am quite active and I live in Southern California where I'm active outdoors a lot and I'm tired of large clunky phones. I have large hands and even so I'm lookin forward to a phone I can toss around a bit more. I made the decision after checking all three of them out in person.

Amazing review. I just watched another S22 review, Snapdragon 8 gen 1 version, and it was said the battery last a whole day with average screen on time 6-7 hours. I'm kinda surprised you've only got 3-4 hours.

As for the battery life, I honestly don't know how they could of fit anything more with how slim and compact the phone is. It's very similar to the S10e I had a while ago, and I loved that thing.

Same here. Been using the s10e for more thank 2 yrs now and no complain abt the batt life for everyday use - work and social that is. Exactly what I needed, compact but satisfies a little extra. I wouldn't have let go of my s10e if it wasn't for the s22 honestly 😅

You make great videos. I was amazed to find out you also have an English channel! I was hoping that S22 will have decent battery life... Doesn't seem like it. I'll go with S21 FE because I value the screen size and battery more than anything. I use a case so the better build quality doesn't matter much. Better cpu and camera will be sacrificed

The reason why his s22 battery didnt last as long is because it has exynos chip instead of snapdragon, s21 has the same problem

Very good review, I went to the store to see this phone for myself, and your correct, it looks similar to the iPhone 12 and 13 but feels better in hand, iPhone looks a little better but less comfortable then S22. S22 is best looking and most comfortable phone of the series. The S22 Ultra is a nice return of the Note, with the most unique design, no other phone on the market has its camera lenses out like that, it's not bad and not great either, but it does feel like quality in hand, sky blue is best color in my opinion.
