Finally rid of BCS “tractor” and accessories.

This tractor sat in my garage for the last 15 years. It never worked right from day 1. If your looking for a tiller, they are great. Maybe the dozer blade. Everything else is junk. Don’t even think of the blower, maybe they don’t get as much snow in Italy. 👌👃
Just unloaded the last piece and got enough to buy a real blower to go on my real tractor.
Go buy yourself a decent old tractor with 4 wheels, pocket $6000 and thank me in the comments.

If you don't maintain your tools, the second law of thermodynamics (escalation of entropy) will always set in (faster). Nothing in this relative world is immune. Who ever owned this tractor and attachments doesn't have a clue on how to take care of them. Hence, frustration, angst and despair. And this is coming from a proud owner of 2 - 730's and 1 - 852, that are all doing a great job at whatever task and each looks remarkable fresh.

In response to ajgurney5811, there is no substitute for horsepower. I have a 1985 model 735 that I bought new. It works great and always has. Had the 10 hp acme engine to start with. Didn't even replace the spark plug for 7 years in it. Bought an older 715 model that had a bad engine, took the acme off the 735 and put it on the 715. Worked great. Bought a v-twin 18 horse vanguard Briggs and the engine/transmission adapter with the new heavy duty clutch and put it on the 735, got the 30 inch tiller box for it. Doesn't even know its on there. Bought 22x12.50x 10 inch tires and rims. put wheel weights on and added fluid to the tires. It weighs about 600 pounds now and even with that much weight if you are tilling and get into some tight heavy soil there is still no holding it, I don't even try.

If you have the room it is always going to be way cheaper to buy a conventional tractor of, say, 40 hp and tools to fit. However, we have bought a 720 to work in a wood that has reached the point where the conventional tractor just can't go. Inevitably the somewhat specialist tools for these tractors are always going to be relatively expensive.

I have one from 1985 that works perfectly. I am tearing it down though and getting it ready to perform for another 38 years. I do agree that it can be tough on the arms!

The thing with BCS and this is someone who had a dealer for them is you need more horsepower than you think. A 5 horse wont run the blower for shit but a 8-10 horse will run them good
