I love the triad as at 1:20, the diagonal notes on strings 2,3,4. I have trouble barring strings 1 & 2 and then at same time arching my finger to play string 3, what happens is I dull string 2. So the diagonal triad is a nice alternative. I didn't know about the double stops part of it.
