Hey Randy I had a swapped k20a in my ek hatch and I had the same problem. I know they are different cars. But if you are running a coolant temp sensor that requires a ground you should try grounding it. I had a separate coolant temp hose adapter that relocated the temp sensor. Pm me if you have questions.

On idle/coasting along your afr should be trying to target around 14.5-15 on your aem uego. Under full throttle it should be in the 10.8-11.5 on 93 or 11.5-12 on e85. Depending on your tune. Thats what my gauge shows on both Evos.

Yo bro! Take off your temp connector an spray some WD-40 and let i sit for about 15 min. Then dry it with a compressor. Connect it back again and it should work. If not your wires are bad. You can also put in a small gauge to be sure

This maybe late, but about your cooling system for your engine it could be your thermostat stuck open. Try replacing it, and see how it will be.
