Finally some good snow out EAST! Freeride Gen5 2023 ! Location Area 51! Chic-Chocs Mountains

Looking crispy nice. Still worried about A arms with the limited snow pack? I saw a lot of lines there begging to be smashed, but I don’t know what’s underneath.

Yes this is a-arm wreaking territory ! i have many hits threw the day, this one of the reason i don't ride too fast. Power line is one of the safest place since most stump are cleaned, to maintain the line. Also all these trees will get cut one day or another so we don't car much smashing into the them as long as they are small enough. We have a decent bottom that is pack, it help a bit to avoid unseen obstacles. But, We need another 50 cm to be more clean and enjoy most of the zone. Sadly this is the only zone, where we found with decent snow yet. I'm at my 8th ride of the season and condition were juste bad so far. we had a lot of rain. Sadly the gGopro died 1/3 of the ride. We had crazy fun terrain like 5 minutes after the video ends... Cheers!

@@PierresAdventures I totally understand. We took it easy the other day on what we thought was good snow pack but still smashed an A arm on a hidden log. Glad you got some good snow.
