Shove the excess washing machine outlet hose back behind the washing machine. You've created another water trap by letting the hose hang down. Plus it'll look tidier.

Definitely get the angle jaw set mate. I’m pretty new to press myself I’ve been pressing where I can for the last year but I purchased the angle jaw set after a month of getting the gun. Wont regret it mate.

When you cleaned the condenser trap Luke when you refitted the trap you put water in it, what’s the reason for this….cheers

@@swarf52 the condensate trap is part of the flue system, it’s so it didn’t run dry when boiler came on 👍

Get that voltage detector pen and throw it up the garden kidda and get ya self a voltage tester I wouldnt trust them voltage pens.

It’s actually part of your safe isolation checks to use a voltage pen 🤷‍♂️ Not in a wiring centre though mind 😂

@@TARSoda fully understand mate to use one to check there is no voltage present on the appliance and pipework before touching it . But that’s basically all they are good for and that is to check voltage is present I wouldn’t trust a voltage detector pen for safe isolation ever that’s where your two pole voltage tester comes into play and then run through the stages of safe isolation I would still throw it up the garden😂
