You have a restriction in the cold flow pipe, possible a part opened isolation valve. When toilet flushed, the refilling drops line pressure, which allows bceramic discs in Bath tap to open and let a trickle of water pass.

Plumber here, could be that you need a pressure reducing valve

It's the pressure captain The rubbers canna take it Coz It's a mix tap !?? Yep that answered it 👍 Or it wants to just join in 👍 Jealousy is always a factor in the weird behaviour of life and the things around it!

Looks like a nice job especially when there is no one being there you can crack on instead of trying to be as low profile as possible, I would have loved work on this one with yah . I love the big jobs where you can pretty much make the system your own, get lost in the work and if you ever need to do any future work for them its a lot easier for you on the return visits😁, Still no gas qualifications for me right now so not that part. 😔 These videos are ACE m8y and if you include the boiler installations and people don't wan to see it they could always use the slider to skip past it. 10,000 is in reach now. Thank you for the content.

yes... floppy rubber flanges always make the best straight lines....
@bluebulldog_uk3 күн бұрын
Depends how floppy your flange is mate
@tadaaaa9523 күн бұрын
@@bluebulldog_uk you can cut it by eye with a grinder better than floppy flange tracing.. Well I can... That particular floppy flange was like a wizards sleeve in that it was out by about 10mm on one side compared to the other.
@tadaaaa9523 күн бұрын
Cut a spare bit of hard flange in half and join em together on the pipe if you really need to trace it.

@@tadaaaa952 yeah mate most experienced engineers can do it by eye, flue clamp works better as well as its metal…just a tip I was shown when first started that might help people out that have just started, not for more experienced people that will just mark and cut…that rubber seal the baxi one is tight as anything and the cut was sound don’t see how it was 10mm out and I was there and was sound

@@bluebulldog_uk pause it at 7 seconds. see the near 30 degree slope from top to bottom? looks like 10mm to me.

I mark the measurement in 4 equal places then use a bit of paper to scribe against. I cut mine with a junior hacksaw. Takes a while but nice finish. I also put the terminal in a bag and then push it through the wall so no debris goes in.

Must take a while but suppose it would be better cut, like the bag idea thou 👍

As a sparky, I’ve fitted plenty of them Miras. I noticed you didn’t prime the unit though using the air bleed button inside the shower. Commissioning section in the manual says it’s important to do this otherwise it will affect the performance of the shower.

The rad bkts spread the weight due to downward force. Try doing them on a towel rail with only a small surface area on the fixings of the towel rail. The weight of the towel rail ends up digging the bkts into the plasterboard and when a towel is damp and the client tries to pull the towel off it, yanks the towel rail off the wall.
