I just got the legacy collection for switch a month ago. Theae games are SO good. Ive played number 5 for 140 hours and still not completed the post game story. That's how much content these games have. Honestly the best rpg battle system of all time. The mario and luigi games are close behind but theres so much customization and different play styles that theres literally limitless options for strategy. The PVP community is really cool.

Despite suffering from first game syndrome, it was still a fun game. I played it a while after I had played 2-6. I thought Sharkman was the toughest boss in that game 😵‍💫.

Megaman games have always had a pattern.. First game is ok. Second is usually better. Third is a little better than second. Fourth is tied to second game. Fifth onwards usually has the bad sequels.
