Finally starting to ENCLOSE our SAWMILL building!!!

Took a little time today to work on sawing out some 2x6's for out sawmill building update! It is Christmas Eve so we didn't get around to a whole lot of work, However we did get a good start on it! Thanks for watching! Like, Comment, and Subscribe for more in the future!

Siding color need be white to reflect that hot Mississippi Summer Sun. Also Tractor loader access, leave method to remove heavy customer order beams from sawmill bed.

If you take your shed posts and 3 or 4 inches above ground drill a 1/2 " hole 8 or 10" deep and fill with creosote and diesel nix 1/2&1/2 and fill the holes every few months it will save your posts from rotting off very fast. I have posts that been in the ground 15 + years and are still solid and stout & they are pine and I live in N E Utah. Stay Safe

The saw is magical almost. Does a great job. I looking forward to seeing the enclosure and dust blower. Do you use the saw dust for anything? Cants are beams that are to be cut into planks later.

It’s the big beams the logs are cut down to before they cut them into dimensional lumber. The cants can also be sold to a resaw mill as their product and the resaw mill will turn it into dimensional lumber to complete the process. If you are making 2x4s and don’t need the whole amount of the cant to be 2x4s you can leave a 6” cant that you can later process into 2x6s.

You should put a concrete floor down out there to build in their building so when you blow, the side goes into that building and filled up for people who needs saw this, they could pick up right there. You can go in with a tractor on a concrete slab and take from building and look them up.
