I'm desperately trying to figure out if it's possible to create a category page with this? I've created a nice loop for my blog overview and would like to add this to my category/archive template. It shows all posts tho and in the query there is only the option to chose fixed categories, not dynamic ones. Or am I missing something?

It’s definitely possible but may need to create a archive template for each category. I’ll have to test more and see about a more dynamic option

How is the magazine grid supposed to be built, if it's not integrated in the widget? I am already seeing us ending up with a standard 3-2-1 columns grid without many options to change that.

Great question. I’m making a magazine grid right now and it’s all possible by using multiple grids and setting up the queries. I’m building a few complex layouts and will have a follow up video shortly showing them and how to do them.

Exciting, but elementor has a lot of catching up to do. We will need ACF repeater, nested repeaters, and relationship support before we can start dropping loop plugins. If and when this day comes we'll gladly pay a few extra coin for our Elementor subscription.

I hope by adding woo products to the loop feature, they implement dynamic star rating for products. So far the Star Widget is useless.

Jet Engine is amazing but SUCKS for building loops. I have been using Ele Custom Skins Pro to do exactly this. Definitely gonna use this as soon as it comes out of beta.

I wanted to ask you today how Loop Builder allows you to place products and create a carousel of these elements with Loop Grid, however it is not possible to place the Image Flipping effect (by hovering the image changes to what you have as a gallery of this product ), if you could help me with how to do it in some way, I would really appreciate it. Novice question: Isn’t there a danger that Elementor could become bloated in time though, like most other software like Adobe, and which will require more server and local resources to operate? I always get overwhelmed and distracted by the amount of additional third party plugins for Elementor, there seems to be no end 😮 I really don’t know what I’m trying to say here 🤦‍♂️

Good question for a novice! Using 3rd party plugins will absolutely bloat the site. That why I approach each site with just Elementor Pro and using only what’s needed and then add anything else very carefully. Almost all sites now can be done without Elementor addons and when done right, Elementor sites can still be fast and be very light.
