T Dub..What a machine.. Never gets old... Farmer up the road from me has an 8830.. He takes it out in the summer for bale hauling duties.. It snores coming up the road, you couldn't mistake it for anything else.. Ford old iron really was built to dance..

Loved the old TW action George, if I lived nearer I’d be there in a flash to give you some free assistance!! The back end repair should be straight forward enough, remove the rear wheel that side to give you some better access, perhaps use some heat to straighten the existing bolts sufficiently to remove them. Replace with new. Straighten the arms and reassemble. The “old girl” sounds awesome!! 😊

We had a Ford New Holland 6610 in our yard, I’ve been working with her for 11 years. She was the most reliable Maschine on our yard. Yes the roof leaked a bit but she always got the job done and never let us down. We sold her thinking a new Traktor would do a better job. I can’t see how any new tractor would do as good as her after 30+ years hard work.

Shame George that the TW don't have a front PTO as there is front mounted rake like units that fold up when on the road, those would save you needing a 2nd tractor to do the normal pulling version of the rake. I wonder is there a rake that has the PTO go on to it's back and has the linkage to attach the Baler so the rake does the line up of the grass and that feds into the baler? Again would only need 1 tractor. 🚜

Hey George, think back to one of your older videos, think it was when you were with Henry, and you had a rake on the front of a fastrac and a bailer on the back. once your fastrac is sorted no reason what you could not do the same with yours. Something like a second hand 4 wheel acrobat would do it with out the need for front pto. Just a thought.

Just managed to bale 4acres of second cut today, 19 bales off which I didn’t think was bad. I did use the old haybob to row 2 passes into 1… which I’d used my big rake after 🤣🤦♂. How does your baler electric box get its power? I like my straight pipe when I’m baling 😁 also puts a big smile on the old boys when I fly past 🤣🤣

Dont know what happened to TW back end , looks like its been pushed back, used to be a place near me Agriculture engineers and design , they would go over TW , and do a partiaL make over or full restore, sounds crazy and expensive , but the vehicle would be much nicer to operate and see you through many years. they could change the glass in the doors and side and rear for double glazed and add extra sound deading in the roof , bonnet etc , we had a Ford 6600 they did for us , and it was like a new tractor. She does sound good, still love County,s
