Wow, exactly what I did to my BX2380, bolted a small tool box where the slow moving vehicle sign goes. Good job/idea to both of us haha. Great video as usual.

I installed the same orange ammo box on my B2601; as far as hammer I went to HF and bought the stubby 2 lb sledge hammer. It's been used the most of my tools. I also keep a small container of various tractor pins/clips.

If'n it's a hot day & your doing something close to where your tools would normally be you can leave the tools in the tool shed & throw an ice pack & a six pack in the box !👍👍🍺🍺🤣🤣🤣🤣

How about mounting a metal toolbox on the front end? The bucket clears by a foot & you turn to wide to hit anything when the arms are removed.

I have been thinking of putting a small tool box someplace on my tractor. I'll have to look at the SMV bracket as a possible location, thanks for the idea. I got a metal one since it gets far too cold in the winters in my area, I would be afraid of a plastic one cracking on me. Congrats on the 2k subs!

Don't want to say it but, tractors bump, drop, bounce, shake, twist in daily use, washers not enough area, that plastic will vibrate, crack and break. Need a larger area to take up stress inside and outside of box, maybe even below bottom. Seen too many "factory" boxes break off going across field. Put two channels of "super strut", spaced 4" apart, between rops ( top front, bottom toward rear) place box on top of bottom strut and against top strut, bolt in place. This also leaves additional area on strut to place other items needed (rear work / warning light light, fire extinguisher, etc). Have strut stick out wider of rops to put extra forward lights if have front loader. Possibilities!

I have a Kabota LX3520 with a cab. I’d appreciate any ideas for a tool box for a tractor with a cab. So far the Harbor Freight bucket with a top is what I came up with. (With the Nylon bucket belt). Any other ideas appreciated. Thanks for an informative video. Even with the magnet mistake is extremely helpful to me. Thanks!

@frankrubino1883 Thank you! Glad I could help. Your tractor is my dream machine. Maybe even the 4020. Definitely with a cab. If I imagine tools in a cab, I immediately picture a soft tool case with pockets. Maybe even something that rolls up. Then it can be hung or tucked somewhere. Another idea (just spitballing here) would be a small piece of 4" pvc to tuck the tool roll into. Let me know what you come up with! 🤠👍

Great question. I'm still looking for an alternative location for it or even possibly a different location for the tool box. I don't drive my tractor on the road so it's not 100% necessary. Always thinking 🤔

@samsdoinstuff Ah, well I do occasionally drive mine on a state route, necessary to get to some of the fields of the farm, so I need that SMV sign. I also added a programmable magnetic mount amber colored flashing light to the roll bar! Just feel it might be a little safer! Thanks!

Cool idea! My BX didn't come with the SMV sign and I won't be driving it down the road ever, so that makes sense. I am enjoying your channel. Question: why is your mower discharge bungeed open?
