Absolutely love your channel. You literally appear to have the life I want and am working towards. I learn so much every time I watch one of your videos. Thank you for taking the time to film, edit and put online for us to view. Please keep up the great work.

Hello David, I really appreciate your nice comment. Filming everything does add some work and slows me down but I think it's worth it especially when I hear from folks like you. One little thing that aggravates me about filming is that I constantly have to turn off the music ever time I want to say something, then turn it back on. I am glad I have all these videos, it's kind of like a scrapbook, wish I had started about 30 years ago. I missed a lot of projects. Thanks!

Surfer dude... Lol. Here I am thinking that would be fun to ride on that new concrete & you go rolling by. 😂🤣 Custom made storage carts for the attachments is a stroke of genius!

Hello Hoot, One thing that I hope people get out of these videos is the planning. I am an over planner! I spend a lot of time thinking 10 steps down the road and try to incorporate things in the design that might not show up until much later. I think that when I am done with the whole project and you go back and look at video #1 Design, you will see that it will be pretty close. Maybe I will show the before and afters at the end. Thanks!

Pallet racks. I watched an episode of tractor time with tim and fell in love with pallets. I put everything on a pallet and have pallet shelves I put everything on. Christmas pallet, halloween. Just take them down when I need them.

Yep, I like using pallets as well. Thanks!

Great video. Thanks. Do you think you could get away with larger wheels/tires to be able to winch up attachments in the field?
@HomesteadEngineering5 ай бұрын
I don't know if that would work but I don't have a good feeling about it. I do keep some of my attachments in the field on pallets. That makes it easy to move them around with the forks.

Always more productive when well organized.

I totally agree! As the shop is coming together I am gaining strength as I can use what I am building to be more and more productive. I am 8 videos ahead of this and just getting to the point where I have enough setup to where I can really make what ever I need very quickly now. Thanks!

Thanks! What you made was really nifty! My daughter and I don't know anything about carpentry but she could make a similar rolling platform to use on her large deck to move her many potted plants around. She does it manually to optimize sunshine so this would be a better alternative! I can see this working great! I am going to buy one of those jobbydo's that you used for the angled screws-cool! We will learn!😉😁🎶

Great video, David. I have been buying furniture dollies at Menards. Not as custom as yours, but it is so nice to roll the implements around on the concrete floor of the my polebarn. Cheers!
