People dont understand boruto isn't like naruto. He didnt grow up to be weak or unloved, he is already a kekkei genkai and can do 2 chakra natures. He was already learning with her aunt and hinata in light novel when he is child. No wonder he is brat, on top of it immature, spolied one. Of course he takes after sasuke and not naruto ,he is genius like sasuke like a child prodigy even like his grandfather. Honestly I didn’t like boruto much and kishimoto I don’t think work on the anime he did the manga I’m pretty sure. But I don’t like the animation or filler it’s more filler than Naruto at this point, I don’t really even like any of the characters but like a few overall I love Naruto og and Naruto shippuden but boruto disappointed me and I think it’s bad

boruto “hates his dad” because he’s too busy to hang out with him. from naruto’s perspective, naruto is hokage to give love to everyone in every village, the way he wanted love and never got it growing up until he earned it from every single person. it took him from the time he was born to 16 or so years old. imagine being hated from pre school until your senior year that’s basically naruto. now boruto just loves his dad so much that he gets mad when he’s not around. boruto sees his dad as someone who loves his work more than his family, at his job 24/7 that he doesn’t have time for his wife and kids. and a young boy growing up needs his father in his life, and fortunately for boruto he does have naruto, but they lack the quality time because work. it’s always work. it’s always something. and boruto hates it, but he doesn’t want his baby sister to go through what he went through so he’s hard on naruto to at least be in his sisters life more than he was in his. but hima isn’t phased as much as naruto i mean she’s home with her mommy everyday so she’s good. she has her big bro too she genuinely loves her life where as boruto just misses his dad and doesn’t see what naruto provides. he would rather have a normal dad whos works at a shop or a sensei than someone who works 100 hrs a week. boruto behavior is also understandable because in his brattiness / arrogance because rightfully so he’s an amazing ninja. he’s a way stronger ninja than naruto ever was the only difference is he doesn’t have naruto’s massive chakra reserve and he doesn’t have the fox power that naruto has. at raw strength no sage mode no fox mode, boruto spanks naruto in the ones. boruto has been compared to sasuke and most importantly he’s the second coming of the 4th hokage, who are 2 of ninja goats. the more you watch and read, the more you see boruto growth develop, and in btv, we see boruto walk down a naruto esq journey and his powers are super cracked nbs.

I think the reasoning is great for a lot of things Sage said... if these were adults. I know next to nothing of naruto lore but I do know that 12 year olds are the most stupid, immature, disrespectful, spiteful and inconsistent mfs on earth. They are so emotional and angsty that honestly thinking they would act logically is a bit of a stretch. Especially if they weren´t forced to grow up early like I think Naruto and the gang had to since there was a whole war going on in their lifetime. Kakashi already made the world pretty peace full before Naruto took the role the anime doesn’t address that tho. Kakashi was advocating for the people who grew up in war going to get therapy.
