The '95 metro with the 3cyl engine and 13" tires had a 4.39 final drive gearbox. It will make the car accelerate faster. I use it in my Swift GTi.

I just recently got the titanium flux 125 and it’s freakin awesome for 169 bucks. I want the nice multi process machine now with the spool gun…😍😁

I'm curious why you abandoned the automatic? They are damn near bullet proof, can handle 300 horse with ease, and I have yet to see one fail in service. I have seen the manual sheer third gear clean at about 150 horse. Love the work you do.

I've broken 2 , they also suck around 25hp out of one and we all know how precious a few HP is

I'm going to go to the junk yard sokn to pull out a manual with all the other accessories associated with an MT swap, any advice? Any special tools to remove it? Sockets, prybars, impact, anything else? What size are the fly wheel bolts, and are they torx?

10-30mm sockets, 10-14mm wrenches a pry bar a hammer and you should be good irrc the flywheel bolts are 17mm

I had read that using a 1.3l tranny has a lower gear ratio from 3.52 and 3.79 or 3.82 then the 1.ol has 4.10 or 4.38 gear ratio and there is no way to tell by the numbers?? Idk just what i keep reading. Unless you can find a original XFI model 89-94 it has a 3.52 or .72 or .82, Ive heard 3 different ratios but the xfi had a special economy transmission from the factory. Any TRUE information would be greatly appreciated. The more i learn, the more questions and confusion i have. 😵‍💫🤯 Also i hear the 1.3l manul has a bigger clutch disc biting surface and is suppose to weigh less and has a lite weight aluminum flywheel??? Ive got sum screenshots of the weights of everything including bolts down to 0.00 or 0.000, dude had did alot of work...then i hear "naw thats all B.S." Im like 😂then😮‍💨 then just quit messing all my Geo stuff. Til i started seeing your vids but was working 60-70hrs a week but that job wrapped up and im layed-off atm trying to get some Metro motivation back up again. Sorry for the long post just actually hearing somebody talk about a transmission versus reading page after page for days of info that sounded way too Complicated an unclear for such a simple little car.

3.52 for the late 4cyl , 3.79 XFI and early 4cyl, 4.10 for 3cyl to 95 , 95 up 3cyl is a 4.39. The 4 cyl flywheel and clutch bolts on and is in fact lighter and has a greater assortment for power holding clutchy

Auto weighs as much as a fully dressed 3cyl and manual trans... dont ask me how I know.
