Dane, I'm a bit younger than your dad and cut my teeth on several of his videos. Worked at Riversports Outfitters with Ed in Knoxville for several years and learned to paddle on all those southeastern rivers. Man do I miss the Tallulah. There was a picture in Paddling magazine taken by Julie Keller of someone running Oceana that made me want to learn to paddle, and a year or so later I was running it. It's an absolute playground, as beautiful as they come. Thanks for the video!

Oceana is one of the easier rapids. The very first one Last Step calls alot of bluffs right off the bat. Those ones he is motoring down at the end have some tricky holes also.
