Good going with it. I would personally go for Hades S-12 Medium as it would be a nice fit for my hand. Scroll Wheel center is off for some copies but the nacho fix works. I personally go for Ents method whereas you just add a clear tube between the scroll wheel plastic pointer to decrease the movage between the SW making it balanced in the middle of the opening. Good to see you got D2F-F37 switches in it, not personally something I go for but the d2f-01f but knowing you had difficulty, could have played around with it maybe it a perfect fit and won't have any issue regarding assembly.

Hey Korgy, super helpful video! With the upcoming ULX I'm having hard time deciding between the Small and Medium. My hands measure 19.5x10.5cm and I use a fingertip grip with my palm slightly elevated. My palm doesn't actually touch the mouse with my current GPX. I saw in one of the comments you mentioned you were going to main the small for a while. So I would love to know your thoughts and which you suggest between the two sizes. Thank you!
@korgy10 ай бұрын
Hellooo. So regarding small or medium, I actually made the step up to medium full time. Small is nice and light but way too jittery for me. If you are completely fingertip, small would be good but I may have mentioned that with the small, your hand will likely cramp up because how you grip the mouse. For you I am leaning more towards small, especially if you have no contact from your palm whatsoever. The safest bet and my personal recommendation is to get the medium though. I love the medium and if were gaming more often I’d opt for the ULX medium. But unlike you, I need just the bottom edge of the mouse touching my palm to stabilize my aim and smooth things out. My hand is similarly sized and I could finger tip medium too. Finalmouse medium is similar in dimensions I feel to your GPX but with a way flatter hump and top profile, so fingertip is feasible. The jump from GPX to a medium ULX makes sense too. So I say go medium!!

@korgy2 жыл бұрын
OK so you actually convinced me to bust out the Viper Mini and feel these mice side-by-side. In summary, Viper Mini actually feels more closer to a S12 MEDIUM but VM has a nice taller mid-hump. S12 MEDIUM is slightly longer than VM too by 1cm or so. S12 SMALL, to me, is very noticeably smaller than VM. S12 SMALL feels much shorter in height (no hump on S12 SMALL), length is almost 1cm shorter than VM, grip width feels much smaller as well. But the weight on S12 SMALL still makes it feel so good to whip around. In my opinion, I think MEDIUM is still the way to go and is closer to VM. S12 SMALL is still kinda too small. VM is pretty much in between sizes between S12 SMALL and S12 MEDIUM. Might come down to whether you would prefer the mouse be a little bigger (S12 MEDIUM) or a little smaller (S12 SMALL). Tough choice but I still choose MEDIUM.

@korgy2 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for the kind words!! Wish I had more time to make vids but still around. Anyway, the whole StockX experience needs a little patience because it’s kinda annoying. I’d say the whole process was just a little over 7 days, maybe 8 total (excluding weekends). The third-party seller sends the mouse to a StockX near you (2 days). StockX receives it and takes them like another 2 days to inspect and verify. Then it took almost another 3-4 days for it to be sent to me directly - I believe via DHL, it came pretty fast after StockX “verified” it. I just think it’s a little silly for StockX to “verify” electronics, it’s not really like sneakers where these items are counterfeit like shoes/luxury goods. They also slap a tacky StockX sticker on the Finalmouse box, confirming that it’s been verified lol. Anyway, not a bad experience and probably the only reliable way to buy the mouse a little over resale. Hope that helps, to me it’s been worth the wait!! 👍

Hey Korgy, I know this video is old but I was able to get my hands on the SL12 Poseidon that just dropped. I was able to get the small. I’m going from the ultralight 2 to this. Will i have any issue switching ?
@korgy2 жыл бұрын
Hey sorry for the delayed reply! OK so I think the switch from the UL2 to Poseidon should go pretty well. For me, I noticed right off the bat that I don’t like the clicks/mouse switches in SL12 compared to the clicks in UL2. The omrons in UL2 just are so satisfying to click. Some might think I’m crazy but I think Kailh switches are some of the worst switches to put in a mouse. Kailh 8.0 is not so bad and that’s what goes into the SL12 but still not my favourite. Mouse weight and wireless functions just further enhance the great experience I had with UL2. That’s all I can really think of right now. Hoping you’ve already been adapting well to the switch! SL12 is really such a great mouse but with equally annoying problems. Can’t have it all I guess 🤷♂️

Hey Korgy, I know this video is old but I was able to get my hands on the SL12 Poseidon that just dropped. I wanted the medium, unfortunately it sold out but I was able to get the small. I’m going from the viper ultimate to this. I play with a hybrid grip, rest my palm but my fingers are in claw grip. Do you think I’ll have an issue and what’s the size of your hand from middle finger to base of palm and across?
@korgy2 жыл бұрын
Hey. To be honest, I think the small is a little too tight and will re-wire your grip to lean more towards full fingertip grip. Can’t remember my exact hand measurements, last I recall 19-20 x 10 cm and I’m still cramping my hand to grip the small finalmouse. You sound like you have a similar grip to mine and honestly the medium has still been my main mouse and just more comfortable for me since I can rest my palm on the back of the mouse. It also gives me more control and stabilizes my shaky aim (I play on 1600 dpi). It sucks that the medium sold out because it’s honestly the safest and most comfortable pick. But if you are prepared to train your grip to go fingertip with the small, I think you’re going to hit new records with the small. It’s lighter, faster and awesome. It’s almost like you can play longer, more consistently and more comfortably with medium. But you can dominate for a shorter period of time with the small. Hope that helps you somewhat.

@@korgy thanks for the reply! I play with 450 dpi. I did notice when I focus on the game, my grip becomes claw like. My thumb and ring, pinky grip the sides and the rest are claw like. I’ll see how it is and if I don’t like, I guess I’ll sell it or find someone to trade

Hey there, I have the Small Poseidon,( Originally I wanted the medium but goddamn snipe bots) do you think its worth it to sell the small to get a medium, or just grab some infinity skins and place them on the small to change the dimensions and make them a bit wider and taller and such?
@korgy2 жыл бұрын
Hey! So after a lot of experimenting, I’ve realized there’s a place for both small and medium finalmice lol. Like the medium feels really comfortable and fits with my natural grip style which is kind of like fingertip gripping with the butt of the mouse touching my palm - I guess that’s a palm grip?? On the other hand, I can whip around a small finalmouse and maneuver it so seamlessly. It even would go on to help me break my own personal records in aimlabs. But I think every finalmouse needs heavy mods - grip tape, skates, new mouse switches, better QC etc etc. I still ultimately prefer the medium finalmouse though but that’s just me. I think you could still do well with a small finalmouse and I’m going to make it my main for a little bit and see how I feel. Curious how the Tenz finalmouse will do. Sounds like a dream mouse for me!!

I think you are nit picking it without putting into a valid reason for why it is made like that in the first place. It’s plastic at the bottom because of signal issues and that they tried to make it light as possible. There is no reason as to why you would be pressing down from the bottom anyways since you are not touching it 99% of the time.
