I use to rent out bedrooms in my house to people but now I don't like renting bedrooms to people, it's inconvenient and can be a scary experience sometimes with risks mounting over your head. You let a stranger in your home and you have no control over what's going on inside your house when you're not home.

Do you get the Airbnb cleaning fees charged to the renters or is it paid direct to Airbnb? The Airbnb and VRBO process seems to take quite a large percentage of the funds. What would you says is final percentage of total that goes to the booking site?
