I was waiting for this info. for quite sometime... Thank You. This makes it clear that the Turkish Govt. wants foreigners who wish to apply for citizenship to purchase Property in Turkey without procuring any loan or mortgage form Turkish Banks. If this facility is given then it will not serve the purpose of the Turkish Govt.

Really helpful information, thank you. This is very relevant to a foreigner like myself who has a large percent of their net worth invested in Bitcoin and does not want to sell and realize capital gains to free up liquidity. Great channel, I look forward to visiting Istanbul someday soon

If you choose the installment plan with construction company, can you apply for citizenship right away and have a title deed or we need to wait until the property is fully paid . Same thing for a mortgage from home country.

I rewatched the video and it looks it is a no for installment plan but I assume mortgage from home country is permitted in order to apply for citizenship.

What about for people that are retired? Like in USA we collected our money monthly and if we choose to live in another country the money is send to the chosen country, the interest in your country is very high therefore, will be not a good move but how they treat retirees they are in a fixed income

Very interesting and useful information Question if we buy the property cash as cash buyers 1) would we get the citizenship? Also would we get the deed to the property straight away once the contract is done and money paid in full ? Many thanks

If I have a HSBS bank account in USA and they have branches in Istanbul, then will I be able to use my HSBC account to pay for a property I purchase in Turkey? Or do I have to open an account in a Turkish bank?

You will have to open a bank account at one of the local banks or the local branch of HSBC here in Turkey.

Wait. So... Basically it's a rip off no go for us British professionals seeking to potentially aquire a mortgage through a Turkish bank to purchase land in Turkey. But it would be heck alot easier if we negotiate a payment plan/deal directly with the developer??

So it is better to get a mortgage from your home country and then purchase a property in Turkey? Would that mean the person can get citizenship since there is no mortgage on it? And does that mean if someone was to purchase a pre-construction property that it would be technically not legal since there is no title deed just a contract? Is that safe for foreigners then to put 50% and then in 12 months the remaining amount for the property in construction? I am looking to purchase a property.

Hi there this is Yusuf From Toronto, I would like to know how To open up a bank account to transfer my funds,I would like to buy a land and built on it as majority of the new homes are looking like abandoned Robots on Antalya,perhaps my taste is a mix of traditional/Contemporary look on the outside and fully traditional on the Inside I was told that it’s way to tricky and dangerous to built one in Antalya. Would You guys recommend a reputable builder please

Thanks for the information. Maybe I miss understood, but does that mean that if you don’t have all the money, you can purchase through the company finance for 12,24 or 36 months interest free and get citizenship that way? Obviously it had to be $250,000 American dollars minimum...

Yes. You will need to have the title deed to apply for citizenship program. And almost all developers will issue the title deed on your name once the payment is fully completed.

Hi there . I have a question is kinda not related to the subject. Me and my ex has a child, we wanna both move to turkey buy a house in there , so the question is do we have to be married to live together and get a resident permit or that is not required ? By the way we are Canadian , thanks 😊

Thanks Alladin. I am working in USA last many years and average salary 110,000 US$ per year with proof of US Tax documents. Also assume I have 700,000 Lira property in Istanbul and I am still working in USA. Do i get mortgage? and what rate of interest i will pay and how many years to pay out?

Well as we have said in the video that since you have no asset in Turkey it won’t be likely to obtain mortgage. Moreover the interest rates are between %15-17 per annum.

Off Plan is not constructed property which is not ready project... There are completed projects, and off Plan (not ready projects)
