HK government is a big spender. Why? Simple to understand. Singapore has huge defense expenditure. Another major difference between the above two economies is the public housing policy. HK basically practices rental whilst SG ownership. All sad faces in HK, and all smiles in SG, both owners and governments. GDP per capita, SG logs USD80,000 plus. HK must do a soul search, to begin with.
❤🎉❤😂❤😢❤😮❤Hello professor good days Sydney Australia and around the world are Everybody's, I am always happy to Support your channel or program for 100 percent, because I am very enjoyable all the times, well done and good on you professor all the best, and Thank you very much.
Thanks Professor for the good exposition, esp agree with the need to review the charging scheme for assisted / subsidized housing (though likely to be extremely unpopular and difficult to implement). However would like to caution against following the UK model in education and medicine as these people are known to be extremely underpaid comparatively when looking at their qualifications - this is a slippery slope. Ditto for law-enforcement professions (look at what's going on with that in developing countries/Africa etc...). Ditto for medical professions - very low pay and you may be aware of the recent junior doctors strike etc.
