Investing and growth in any assets including stocks, mutual funds, realestate, business etc is really boring and definitely take sometime. But all worth the wait after some years during rainy days

There are much more fun and risky versions of stock investing, real estate, and businesses too. Often it is the most boring ones that lead to long-term sustainable wealth!

I have a question, bro. Sorry if it's too nosy...Were you and thr Mrs..high earners? How did you amass so much cash/stocks in 10 years?

No problem, happy to share and answer that. We were never high income earners, just very frugal early on with a unique starting point (Military). We saved and invested soley in index mutual funds for 10 years and got lucky by experiencing huge positive U.S. economic growth. We also got lucky during the brief but large 2020 crash by selling off all bonds (15% of our portfolio at the time) and buying more stock market index funds at a steep discount, which rebounded very quickly. Here's our story: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iobFkomnrs-apNE And here's an older video of when I sold bonds and went 100% stocks: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKaamH-JYrmMldU After we 'retired' in 2021, we started investing in real estate (using leverage) so we didn't use rental real state to retire, only after.
