Thank you so much for sharing your lectures on KZbin. You would have to be one of the best online lecturers I've ever had the pleasure and patience to listen to.

Sir I have a question. While calculating Operating Profits, why are we explicitly adding the sold inventory (it is already included in the net income)? Won't it get added twice.. Waiting for your response Sir Thanks a lot for making finance interesting for a beginner like me.

No CANNOT. You seem to be asking about something totally different, like capital value or capital appreciation or god knows what, but this does not apply to depreciation of existing assets.

Ah, reading the book, there seems to be an error on page 104. The authors say they pay $10 per error. I expect you already collected? (Equation 2-7)

can anyone help me to know difference between stock issue and IPO. AND how can you buy back your stocks when it is in float market.it's only buy and sold by people.
@slicedGabe8 жыл бұрын
An IPO is the first time a company offers stock to the public. A company can have an IPO right after it becomes a corporation, and then issue more common stock or preferred stock later. Issuing stock is a broader action, which includes IPOs. You can buy stocks from other investors once the stock is on the float market. Unless the company issues more stock, you can only buy that company's stock from other investors

Amortization is a term used to describe a decrease (not a change) in value of a thing. So it is impossible to be positive. Just use a dictionary 1st and ask any questions later :-).

If I remember correctly, paid-up capital is the same as paid-in capital, but you need to be sure, try to find a reference.
