Advice #1: borrow around 150.000$ at the lowest interest rate/cost possible Advice #2: Spend that money on marketing(see advice #4) Advice #3: There are more investors than there are record labels. Advice #4: put out a lot of songs and see which ones stand out and attract the most attention and put the marketing money behind those songs.

I know that my city has some mini grants for artists to apply for to make records or go on tour. My city (Memphis, TN) is completely saturated with musicians, seems like it would be hard to hit up some company for money as an investment, but you know, very few of the other artists I know here are doing the kind of ecommerce stuff Indepreneur teaches, so maybe its worth a shot!
