He had one 1929 Crawdad left, and I`m going by the store tomorrow morning and get it. A great guy to get to know, and just ten miles from home.

nice review. As a native Kansan, I'm so happy to see a quality knifemaker surface in my home state. My initial contact with them has been very positive and I'm looking forward to checking out the 1929 in person. It also seems like it would make an amazing gift. Thanks for the great review.

I bought this because of your partial review and it is always with me. I play with it all the time because it is so smooth. I did have to use the bandaid. LOL!

Love your enthusiasm on this one, but more so appreciate your sincerity on every piece that you handle. Your attention to detail and detailed descriptions make your reviews worthy of consideration. Keep up the great work! Still loving my Waypoint, and your videos helped make that purchasing decision more palatable. Cheers!

I have the Cocobolo 1929 and I agree such a cool knife and I just received the 2nd batch of the Runtly , Red / black blade version and I love it as well , after seeing your Runtly video , I had to get a Runtly , so far I'm liking Finch little big knives. Thanks for sharing

I like the Cocobola Scales they really make that knife much more than the carbon fiber would have. What a beautiful knife. The fact is is truly functional for its purpose is a great deal. I almost went with it but had my eye on 3 others. This is one I hope I can come back to.

Came close to pulling the trigger on one of those but have my eye on a old canoe slip joint. Old school !

This knife is deluxe. You are describing all the things I like about mine, too. Finch knives are very well made and you have to pay for that.

Half way through the video I stopped it to go to blade hq and order the 1929 in carbon fibre (the cocobolo had already gone but, as soon as as its back in stock, I'll pounce on it) thanks for the video Jake! By the way, 'you rock the hat' 😂

Beautiful design. I would have kept the wood scales as well. Small but cool.

The cocobolo really does suit the character of the knife IMO

Gotta say, I got the cf and the action was really inconsistent so I attempted to take apart and tune only to find the pivot just spun around when I tried to loosen it. With the flat surface of the show side pivot I couldnt counter unscrew from the other side. I finally got it apart and improved the action slightly but was a little disappointed in the construction. Love your vids

Bummer to hear the action wasn’t quite right on yours!

Dangit, I've checked these out over at REC and have convinced myself I don't need it. But now I think I need it...
