WIITB will always be a fun and memorable album, but I absolutely loved the direction they took with SHTS and it is easily the superior album (at least in my opinion and my personal preferences). I am enjoying this new track. It definitely has hints of Sunshine as well as their last EP. I really can't wait to hear the rest of it.

Definitely has a Say Hello to Sunshine vibe, which I love - was my favorite album from them. I kinda wish the guitar/bass tone was a bit heavier like SHTS, but that's ok. This track is SOLID, and can't wait to hear more from this album. P.S. Nate's screams sound fantastic here, as usual:)

This is somewhere just beyond the 2008 EP and Say Hello to Sunshine, which is still probably my favorite album of all time barring maybe like frances the mute or something. Little more energy, little less articulate this time around. I can dig it. I hope there's some more jazzy cosmonaut sounding stuff on the record too.

What it is to Burn was a good album. It stood at the front of its genre and paved the way for a lot of bands who are still successfully making music. It was not a GREAT album, it was not an amazing album. It was catchy and distinct, not to be confused with unique. It rose above an ocean of like minded bands and stood out. It was insanely fun to see live as well despite the fact that Nate was relatively tone deaf live. Say Hello to Sunshine actually had some creative vision behind it. It was finally more than power chords and shrieks, and it didn't get the attention or recognition it deserved. It was a unique and creative endeavor. Don't get me wrong, I loved the hell out of What it is to Burn and I played the hell out of it. But to this day, I still throw Say Hello to Sunshine on the play rotation. Because it has what the prior album does not. A direction and sound that is timeless, rather than a collection of heartbroken emo songs with power chords and screaming.

I like Alien Ant Farm, Incubus and Hoobastank, but this sounds NOTHING like those bands. I mean LOL at the Alien Ant Farm comparison. Also, radio rock? I would love to hear something like this on mainstream radio. Most of what is on radio is terrible hip-hop/rap and terrible pop music. I think radio "rock" right now is considered Linkin Park, Slipknot and other butt-rock bands. I'm glad Finch is back and was a huge fan of WIITB and I moderately liked SHTS. Even though this track is heavier than WIITB I can still appreciate that it is a great powerful track, I love it.
