Hey, you may want to watch my separate videos on listening and reading comprehension in TEF. That should give you a good idea about the overall exam, difficulty level, preparation material, etc.

Hi Tanu, I want to book a bootcamp with 1 of the teachers on Italki but she doesn’t seem to respond. Is there any alternative of getting in touch with them? How do I join if I don’t hear from her
@tanusharma01 Жыл бұрын
You can send a message to the teacher on italki. If they don’t respond, they’re probably not accepting new students. Explore other teachers on italki

@@tanusharma01 how much time need for beginner to tef clb 7?
@NeetuKumari-nb5eu Жыл бұрын
hi dear , you always reply on my questions thnks for that. now i need your help for one more suggestion.right now i am in a2 level but my trainer is not providing the enough of the study material and even dont focus on speaking part so just need your suggestion if i take classes on itakies how many classes do i need for tef exam .
@tanusharma01 Жыл бұрын
HeyNeetu! I think TEF prep should be started once you complete B1 level so you have enough command on the language. If your teacher is not focusing enough on speaking, then try taking classes with native speakers on italki - 1-2 class per week should be fine and then practice as much as possible on your own. It’s hard to say how many classes you would need on TEF as it depends on a lot of factors - specially your level in french. For now focus on learning the language and practice speaking and writing so it would be easier for you to prepare for TEF later on. All the best 👍

Hi Tanu, I have been tring to book a french tutor on Italki( with trial credits at this point) And I've got three cancellations by the tutor at the nth hour for diff reasons. is it due to the trial credits? Am wasting valuable time. Pls advice. Thanks
@tanusharma01 Жыл бұрын
Hey, that’s unfortunate. Sometimes they have too many students and don’t plan ahead. It might help to send a message to the teacher, explain what you’re looking for from the lessons and ask if they can help. Setting the expectations upfront may help to avoid last minute cancellations. All the best

Hi Tanu, how advanced is B2 from B1? Since I obviously desire to appear for TEF sooner, can I afford to skip B2? I ask this because Alliance Française is offering 2 hours of daily online classes for B1 (lower and higher) for a duration of 6 months. I intend on mastering the language sooner, so spending 6 months alone on B1 has got me a bit confused. I took the decision of learning French full-time, and I don't have any family responsibilities either. In such a scenario, what would your timeline expectations for B1 & B2 be? I know I've typed a lot, I'd appreciate it even if you reply in brief.
@tanusharma01 Жыл бұрын
Hey, in my experience EDITO each book can be finished in 12 weeks (1 week per chapter) with aggressive study plan. Since you have good enough time to invest on French, I’m sure you can finish B1 level easily in 3-4 months. I would highly recommend that you start with TEF exam preparation also after a month or so. That would create a solid base for you for the exam and if you can do B1 classes and TEF prep both in parallel then I’m sure you won’t need B2 classes! Hope I was able to answer your question but please feel free to share any more questions that you may have. Good luck 👍
