Hi I come to know that there are total 4 nasal sounds or vowels in french, whereas some of the french speaker use only 3 nasal sounds. So do we need to know and use all 4 nasal sound for TEF/TCF canada exam or not? Eg un => œ̃ or un => ɛ̃, Which one should I use for exam ?

I have a question. You used to send everything you write and speaking samples to your teacher to get it check. It was included in our lesson fee? Can we send as much writing and speaking samples to our teacher to get them checked?

In section A when we have to ask questions, we will have to ask questions from examiner? I mean we will assume the examiner as a second person like we are asking question from someone about something we have seen and based on their answers we will have to ask question again... In short, there will be 2 way communication? What's more, could you please make a video of speaking also like you made about writing and listening... it would help us understand what we will have to expect in exam...

I have a question. I am giving an example to better explain my question. My question is about reading module. When I was preparing for ielts and took tests via british council I used to follow reading articles from cambridge books. In this way I used to better understand reading articles in actual exam. Is there any resource like this when it comes to french reading module? Which we read on a regular basis in order to be able to understand reading passages in tcf or tef?

Simply search for articles on TEF related topics to build vocabulary. Example if you’re writing on topic “it is recommended to have organic food” search articles on the pros and cons of eating organic food, and build your 3 arguments on the topic.

I have a question. I am an absolute beginner. I wanted to know the significance of putting accurate signs on alphabets like èéêç etc. If we do not put signs, we will lose points? The meaning of words will change if we do not put signs? How do we get to know accurate usage of these signs in words?

Thanks for sharing your tips. I agree with you except for the part regarding the questions. The instruction is usually "posez une dizaine de questions". You will find that if you don't ask about 10 questions, you will not get enough information to score high. So I advise students to try to ask as many questions but also to listen to the responses because examiners always give vague answers to force you to ask more questions. That is the game. When candidates do not ask enough questions, they usually speak slowly, lack fluency and have A2 or B1 level. So ask your questions and time yourself. How many questions can you ask in 5 minutes????
