As someone who lives on a tropical island with a house 100 meters from the ocean I definitely agree! My husband and I left Washington DC for Key West Florida years ago and never looked back. Warm weather and ocean breezes are my happy place. Slowing down and living on island time makes life easier and more enjoyable. We only live once so it's all about what makes you feel content.
