Great video, Leonora! Thank you! I was thinking about creating a physical portfolio, but got overwhelmed - sooo many providers, different layouts, different paper qualities to choose from, + I suddenly felt like I actually may not have enough photos I would like to add to a printed portfolio. :(

Totally get you Alex and I definitely had some challenges with that too. I will do an in-depth video or blog post on this! In terms of photos, even if you add 4 or 5 and space them out with other information such as your services/availability/testimonials/ etc. you don’t need a large amount of photos to create an impact. Clients also don’t have much time to look through them so sometimes, less is better to keep it snappy 😊 hope this helps!

I always find it hard with so much misinformation online but thanks for being honest. Stick to the basics and focus your energy there! Keep up the video's please :) Love your portfolio as well - can you do a video on what you include in here?

I saw the title and both eyebrows raised... "go on...I'm listening." Upwork, interesting. And great other points I will check out and be putting into practice. Thanks

Makes me sad that it seems social media is the only suggested way to get noticed and gain clients, it’s important to break boundaries and think outside the box. It will create a longer lasting impressing that’s for sure. Thanks John appreciate you watching!

When you send a photo that you already took to a brand, and they are interested, hoq does the conversation go from there? Are you then giving them pricing info for those images or are you already allowing them to use them?

A lot of the time clients will choose to work with you on a project of their choice. So when you send the photo over they don't necessarily ask to use it. If they do, then yes 100% charge for it. If a client reaches out with interest, you then start the onboarding process. They know what you can do for them so you then move forward to the discovery call, put together a creative brief/photography proposal with pricing etc, contract, initial payment and then you start the project. My experience is 99% of the time, the photo sent over is used solely to grab their attention and then it opens the door for all sorts of projects they have in mind! I hope this helps :)
