Thanks Joe! I'm grateful for your channel as I continuously strive to be a more technical striker, and you share so many details that I myself am not aware of, overlooked, or forgot. Your channel continues to help me get better! 🙏

Oh, what a gem is this video! For learners like me, I discovered it helps me immensely if I slow down the kicking show at the end and watching in slow motion. It's also really funny how the kicking video is sponsored by the gloves company which was rather useless. Anyway, a man's gotta get money from somewhere, might as well be gloves in a kicking video.

Is your kick round the whole time or becomes round last second before hitting the target?

I don't fully agree there's overpivoting. It will only be a problem if you can't control yourself an loose balance. If you do a proper round kick fast, powerful but still in a controlled way you learn to go all the way back fast without losing balance to maintain your posture. It too will sometimes be a matter of distance if you pivot 90 degrees or more. Thanks for the video anyways, I think it's really explained well. Edit: Ok I just saw you mentioned some of that in the excellent part, so nevermind ;)
