The problem is consumers don't research name brands.....so delta 8 came about so they can secretly get rid of all of the left over reggies and cbd from before legalization. Once i looked at the % and did the math. That 0.3% thc for cbd is a myth because 0.3% on dry weight is around 20% thc. Or less. Some brands are just throwing cbd in a jar and slapping a label on it. But other brands like urb or curevana I've always gotten legit clean products and they get me high af 😂. But then there's these off brands that you can clearly see their carts are old and burnt out.

Exactly. With experience most people start to realize the same is true for almost all other natural plants and fungi containing active compounds. It's lack of information to use properly and government regulations that are the only dangerous thing about them.

Nationwide marijuana legalization must be enacted. If alcohol & tobacco (both 100% PROVEN to cause death) are legal, & there’s designated places for addicts to openly shoot up heroin, fentaNYL, or whatever other type of poison they like without fear of arrest, then marijuana(which has NEVER been found to cause death) should DEFINITELY be legal! I reckon that just makes too much sense though.

Polls show 68 percent of all Americans want to end the monstrously destructive, insane war on cannabis consumers. More than 90 percent approve of medical cannabis. Now, even a majority of Republicans want to end this sick, witch hunt. - So why do we still have it? -- Because police and prosecutors build their careers and empires on the fraudulent cannabis prohibition. Because industries like alcohol and pharmaceuticals don't want the competition. Because other interests like the bogus "treatment" quacks, the drug testing industry and the prison industries depend on it for their life's blood. Because many banks and shaky corporations couldn't exist without the laundered money. Because it's a Republican tool weaponized by Richard Nixon to attack and oppress his "enemies' - Blacks and ’hippies.’ -- But we're still winning. 8^)

If I could just go down the road to a legal dispensary and buy marijuana, I'd do that over hemp-derived THC any day. I am thankful because delta 8 and other hemp-derived cannabinoids have really helped me get through this past year with depression, anxiety, and a potential bi-polar disorder. Marijuana is completely illegal in my state, recreationally and medically, and it has not been decriminalized here. They need to stop playing around and just legalize marijuana already. 2023 needs to be the time. It will allow people to buy cannabis with a lot more confidence. People like me who haven't seen a doctor/psychiatrist for mental issues, but know THC helps based on personal experience, will benefit greatly. Not to mention the revenue the states will get (just look at states that have it legalized recreationally). It's a win win.

Thankfully my state has medical which I have but still, it is just absolutely ridiculous in 2023 that weed is not federally legal! And nope, it has never led me to other drugs and I tell my RA Dr to stop trying to shove pills on me! Pills, ie chemicals, have side effects! Nope, no thank you. LEGALIZE IT ALREADY! You are absolutely correct, the older generations are almost afraid of cannabis in some cases. My grandfather told me he has to have a “night cap” to sleep at night. Which is a glass of rum. I told him I really want him to try full spectrum CBD instead. He can’t be drinking every night to fall asleep that is NOT okay. Especially for someone in their 70s. For all the years of wisdom he passed down to me, I finally was able to do the same for him, and he loves the CBD capsules and sleeps like a baby with no side effects ❤ it’s heartbreaking to think our own government demonized cannabis to the point where we actually think alcohol is somehow “less” of a drug. Alcohol, cigarettes, along with over-prescribed benzodiazepines and opiates are poisonous addictive drugs. The government isn’t always right. And they got this one WAY wrong.

My grandfather was told to stop drinking beer in his mid to late 60's by his doctor. My grandfather smirked and said ok Doc! He continued to drink at least a beer a day, around lunchtime till he kicked the bucket. Granted, sometimes he'd skip a day or two on occasion. He ended up living till he was 88. I'm sure he would have lived a bit longer if he didn't get Alzheimers. The beer seemed to help keep him a bit happier. At least, that's what I'd like to think. Not that he was mean, maybe stern. But hell, what WWII Veteran wouldn't be. He even lived with a broken back he suffered from at an early age and still worked. Plus, he built his house! That's grit... Gotta say, they don't make em like they used to. Long as they're happy & mostly healthy. Just be there for them. Take care! ❤️🇺🇲👊🏻

With respect Dr., I doubt I’m the only here who finds the CDC’s credibility profoundly diminished over the past few years - especially what they report regarding alternative treatments for pain or anxiety. As an MD. he should know that none of the data from poison control centers should be taken seriously because they are self reported anecdotes by ppl who almost never have any medical training themselves. These reports arent evidence because the plural of anecdote is not "evidence." If these reports came from actual medical records recorded by medical professionals, THEN it would be considered evidence.

He proved with evidence what he was practicing truly had benefit and saved lives. It wont be long if not already that empirical evidence shows Delta 8 is no good and its better to just keep the natural properties of a plant rather than having all the B.S byproducts that come from trying to work around the FDA. Who farmed this ground I did said the farmer. Who sailed the sea? I did said the sailor. Who doctored the books? Every real event is an anecdote and we try to describe or define statistics or measurements of the event. We gather together a couple of thousand of these things and clean the reports written by the police at the accident site for all of the accidents that don't have consistency and completeness. Then we run statistical analysis of these things and do better on building roads and public policy. Medicine is mostly the same way except doctors misrepresent a lot of things to get ahead.

@@IamJay02 there were some serious misrepresentations of the word "poisoning" in this video. Delta 8 poisoning would be when a kid eats a gummies or grandma or grandpa and they start freaking out or the parents freak out and rush Jr to the hospital. We have seen the medical profession do this before with for example COVID deaths. Many people died of other issues during the pandemic but if the person had COVID and died of a gunshot wound for example...they list it as "Died with COVID". The media picks up on these misrepresentations and create a story that does not exist. If you rewatch this video you can see the good RX here do the same shit. For example when he gives the story of a 4 year old eating an entire bag of gummies then convulsing and dying....well how big was the bag? What's the ld50 on Delta 8? How big was the 4 year old? He immediately after using the word "died" says it's very dangerous stuff. Ok how many beers would kill a 4 year old? Are we to say a 4 year old drank a 6 pack and died that beer is "very dangerous stuff"?

Two plugs have about 12 different choices but I know each one of them and they're not a strong sativa the only kind I smoke so I'm thinking about trying some kind of Delta 8,9 or 10 that makes me think it's sativa.. Something tells me it's basically the same thing as a regular cart they just changed the name so they can legally sell it.. I think I might be trying something new from the gas station for the first time ever.. I just wish a real old school weed smoker could tell me if it's worth it and it's going to be just like a real sativa but after 5 hours I haven't found a video or a comment yet that lets me know this😢

The only organic solvent-less, filler-less “wax/oil/extract” is ROSIN. Not RESIN, ROSIN. Look it up, it is the only way mainstream way that you can get organic, solventless, full-spectrum cannabis extract. Carts are BS and they hit nothing like a dab of good rosin does. Carts are hollow feeling, not full spectrum and throw away many of the great naturally occurring medicine and replace it with a mockery of fillers.

As a CDL local driver where the company tests us for urine and mouth swap every 3 months...( Keep in mind I might not get tested for a year straight... its a random 3 month thing on all employees) Our company does tell us a day before which can be 14-24 hours before...which is cool because our drivers usually leave at 5:30 am in the morning. So that's when we get tested them leave. Most of our drivers drink after work. Maybe a beer or 2 or 12 idk. Ever since I started working for the trucking industry, its been a thing for me to drink after work... and it has also been a negative impact on my life because I havnt smoked in the past 6 years... but have replaced it with drinking instead 😔 I think it's total bs that I can have a good amount of drinks the night before and the next morning have no alcohol in my system with giving the 1 hour drink time system... but yet feel a little disoriented because of being dehydrated and maybe slight hungover, but still pass a drug test. Alot of our drivers say the same thing too. I think the federal law on thc for CDL should have some kind of test that shows within a certain amount of hours just like alcohol... but that will never happen. 🙄🙄🙄 Us truck drivers dream of it. I rarely drank alcohol before I was a truck driver 6 years ago. Now I have to have something legal to unwind after a work day. Its sad and dumb at the same time.

I think one of the biggest dangers surrounding delta-8, as well as cannabis in general, is ignorance. I love Delta 8 for my anxiety and sometimes for just a little extra relaxation and fun, but I do agree that it can be dangerous if people don’t know some of this stuff. Before buying a Delta-8 product, a person should always make sure that the product is third party tested and that the lab the manufacturer uses is legit. These third party labs should be testing for harmful chemicals, metals, bacteria, etc. Also, any added Delta 9 THC should be compliant with state laws on THC concentrations.

Many of these vendors selling delta 8 can just put out self-made or edited ‘third party’ lab reports. There’s just no way to know whether any certain vendor is being genuine as there is no oversight. I have a medical card and I feel much better using regular cannabis and delta 9 THC than I ever did when I used delta 8 THC for a year or two. At least the medical dispensaries are regulated and put actual lab reports out.

FUN FACT: Delta 9 isnt actually stronger. The problem is that the liver adds a hydroxy ion to the Delta 9 structure to make it water soluble so it will get evacuated through the kidneys when the blood flows through them. When the liver makes that change the new chemical shape is called Delta 11 which is 7 times more potent at hitting on the same receptor sites. So technically Delta 9 is almost the same as Delta 8, except that Delta 9 gets converted by the liver to Delta 11 and is 7 times stronger until it finally leaves the body. A similar metabolic process happens when regular THC-A gets converted to THC by heat, then to Delta 11 by the liver. Vaping reduces how much active chemical gets changed by the liver so thats why vaping doesnt feel nearly as strong as edibles. Edibles hang out in your gut getting processed by the liver very slowly increasing the felt effect which also happens to cause you to build a tolerance faster. Vaping has many advantages over oral route.

if you stick with well known and trusted brands D8 is no more unsafe than D9, Heavy metals tend to come from disposable vape pens, and over heating them i.e. "taking blinkers" . But now THC A is legal in all 50 U.S. which is normal weed, normal weed has THC A and after you burn it, it coverts to a bunch of things mainly D9 THC. because the plant doesn't contain D9 THC untill after it is ignited, it is legal thanks to 2018 farm bill. so just use THC A products now, its not like D8 where it starts as cbd concentrate thats converted into D8, no THC A is your granddaddy's pot, just reclassified as Hemp under the law... for now

Considering I sometimes end up eating more Vitamin Gummies than I should, and I took 4 of the Five CBD Gummies yesterday, I think CBD definitely makes one unable to drive and practically if one’s body’s reaction is more sensitive than even me, I say they need to stay home for at least 24 hours because I am still feeling off after 18 hours. Vitamin Supplements I can grab at CVS, Target, Walmart, Costco, Sam’s Club doesn’t give me this cognitive block CBD does and I can’t imagine someone younger taking it, and the seizure of the child is something vitamin supplements doesn’t do. I think FDA Regulation is warranted alongside decriminalization of CBD and both Delta 8 and Delta 9 because this has health and safety implications people don’t understand.

All supplements are unregulated unfortunately. Therefore, one has to do their own research even if taking day a vitamin D supplement. I raise the issue with D8 because this is being synthetically made and most of the product on the market is likely unsafe. There are companies adhering to higher standards but they are not the majority. I raise concerns because up til now there has never been a truly documented death related to cannabis and there’s a reason why. The reagents used by some of these companies are very dangerous. Please do research on whatever product before using.
@DoctorJack16
@DoctorJack16 Жыл бұрын
@@SILLY_BILLY_777 Please see my comment above. The way that CBD isolate is made, most likely through CO2 extraction, is vastly different from the reagents that are used to create D8. D8 is a naturally occurring cannabinoid but it does not occur in large enough quantities within the cannabis plant to be commercially viable hence why so many companies are adding, at times, very dangerous reagents and the consumers do not know until they begin to have health problems.

This just confirms what I felt when I tried these different products I spent a couple of weeks trying to stop smoking marijuana and replace it with what I thought was weaker yet still natural versions of the plant but upon using these a couple of times I realized some thing was a mess. I felt weird confused just totally strange made me feel like I was getting the flu as well. Definitely felt like something was off about it and I Immediately discontinued it. Glad to know my instinct was correct. Thanks for the info!

the ONLY difference between TCHA weed and the weed you find on the shelves of dispensaries, is the way it is cured. Delta 8 weed- doesn't exist. It is CBD weed sprayed with garbage chemicals containing D8 among other shit. THCA is actually real canibus with proper genetics that goes through a super cold cure process, and is harvested differently, leaving the Delta 9 below 0.3. when tested. You can buy "THCA weed" and leave it in a jar for a week, and it'll become federally illegal.

I've been doing Delta 8 for four years without issues. I don't vape it or smoke hemp sprayed with it. I use gummies which gives me 11 hydroxy-delta 8 tetrahydrocannabinol after metabolism. I take between 75 and 100mg three to four times a day. Sometimes I do HHC, HHCO, HHCp, THCp, THCO, and mix it with psilocybin and other psychedelics. No issues.

As a long time medical Cannabis advocate with a fairly extensive knoledge of Cannabis and the endocannabinoid system (compared to your average citizen), I respect what You are saying and appreciate the scientific approach. Processing is a very dangerous aspect of the industry indeed, and to hear that a death has occured, dispite not being due to naturally derived Cannabinoids, is heartbreaking. I blame the same lawmakers who fail to recognize the studies already conducted on Delta 9THC and CBD induced Apoptosis of cancer cells. The cancer fighting properties of Cannabis alone should have kept us on a medicinal track years ago, but greed and buerocracy has sent us down an awful track compared to where I saw things going in the medical Cannabis days (My state had the first dispensary in the nation, I've been in this for a while). I quickly began to realize that what I was consuming was not good for me even in small amounts. I was aware of the "Do not consume or ingest" warning, although some of the brands didn't have any warning whatsoever. Despite getting sick from it, I always wanted more. Firstly, Delta-9 is legal in all states as long as it’s hemp derived. I take a full spectrum CBD gummy which has 1.5 mg THC/Gummy . Love it. Two of those will definitely get you high, but the benefits are outstanding in my experience. Certainly something to keep away from kids. I believe there should be some type of age verification process for these products. I use a product that third-party lab tested as well. The legalities are it has to be < 0.3% thc by dry weight. Lastly, people should understand the biology of consuming edibles with THC. The liver converts the THC molecule into a stronger metabolite so it does not take much THC to get you high. Definitely a legal loophole with these products. You can take several of these and get highly stoned.

I think it's fine to warn people about certain things but it's missing some context which is important. Yes D8 is extracted differently and one needs to research which companies purify the extraction from harmful by products and have independent lab tests. It's going to cost more for those though but it's worth it. There's a reputable company in Utah which makes purified D8 products and one can find them and other companies out there. Not using the bad products aside, I think because D8 is milder than D9, there are people who will take more of it to get a level of effect and end up taking more than is intended which can result in negative side effects.

You can't legally buy state sanctioned cannabis in a "Smoke Shop". You would be referring to buying weed off of the black market if you bought it in a smoke shop that sells bongs, pipes, papers and incense. Buying cannabis today is highly regulated or technically so, if not in practice. States regulate the heck out of it so they can collect every cent that they can in taxes. Same with medical. The state tracks the patience and collects yearly fees and still charges taxes on the medicine we purchase. Greed drives that aspect of the business.

The by-products is likely the problem. When looking at cannabis, it simply exists in very small quantities. Nature never intended for this cannabinoid to be taken this way in the amounts taken. In order to produce enough Delta-8 for a commercialized market you have to put the cannabinoid through an organic synthesis which essentially replicates the molecule structure of the cannabinoid in return companies are able to have enough isolated Delta-8 to keep up with demand. The Delta-8 extraction process is no different than CBD extraction process the biggest difference is the organic synthesis used to commercialize Delta-8. CBD shows up within the plants bio-mass in high enough percentages that they are able to isolate the cannabinoid immediately and avoid a organic synthesis process of any kind. Truthfully, high quality Delta-8 more than likely won’t hurt you in my opinion it’s completely safe to use but it’s always best to consult your doctor if you have concerns of any kind. The one thing to be mindful of is the company you’re purchasing these products from a majority of the are highly unregulated and are taking advantage of people with real health issue. There’s realistically about 20 companies out there that are upholding the integrity of the industry. I’d personally avoid purchasing any of these product through paid ad’s online as they typically are lower quality especially if you see them on Amazon or facebook.

@@jacobmohajir3958 that was so helpful & it made sense for once. Are you comfortable sharing brands that you recommend?

@@jacobmohajir3958 thanks for sharing your knowledge. I do have a question. Are you saying that Delta 8 goes through CO2 extraction to be made? It is my understanding that it does not and only goes through the reaction discussed in the video. Thanks.

@@DoctorJack16 how is it that you're posting vids against ∆8 when you obviously don't really know much about it? Learn first. I know a lot more than you about it and still wouldn't be posting videos. I buy it and use medicinally rather than pay the exorbitant amount charged for an MM card, going to a dispensary, and paying the state extortion fees that are passed down to the consumer. ∆8, HHC, and other cannabinoids I can purchase from well-established businesses who post lab results and are known in the community. I clicked on your video simply to educate those who are unfortunately believing your lack of knowledge. I use for neurological pain, C-PTSD, anxiety, and sleep. I'm able to eliminate anxiety meds and pain meds by doing so and live a much better life. I don't have to dose delta 8 to the point of unable to function, just to make it through my day. It's a life saver for me.
