Re: question 1 - I’ve decided that I’m accepting full payments up front for all my projects up to a certain amount. For me that’s up to about 1k because I do smaller projects. If clients don’t want to pay up front then they can’t get what I offer 🤷🏻♀️ You need to decide that your ideal clients are people who pay, that’s so important.

This might be a red flag for some clients and might ruin the trust you create before that.

Ask for up to 50% upfront for under a thousand, be reasonable.

great advice. two things though, if you're having trouble getting paid, you can contact a collection agency which I would try before hiring an individual lawyer. Also, be careful about working with people from different areas/countries because the laws (and legality of your contract) might not apply.

Hey, Ran. I couldn't find what designers charged for websites there on AWWWARDS... What's the actual website that you referred to, and how should I figure out what the business was charged?

Negotiating with non-paying clients should only happen to offer a payment plan. I mean split the payment in 2 or 3 months. Then consider not working with that client again if you can choose. Business is not non-profit.

Hello Ran! Where I can find templates or models of contracts to deliver my clients, like you mention in you're video? Thanks.

Of course it is always best to consult a legal professional (which I am not), however a good start www.hellobonsai.com or the Graphic Artists Guild Handbook: Pricing & Ethical Guidelines, 15th Edition

Ran...great content as always. Since you are a UX designer why don't you improve the experience for you audience on KZbin. What I mean is your titles are simple click bait and in this video for instance ...Find Remote High Paying Clients...the subject is addressed for 3 mintes starting at 8.43....just change the title to Q and A but don't slap titles to make us watch and then disappoint in delivery. I am sure someone else feels the same but we all look forward to your great content just keep it consistent buddy.......
