Christina - I'm playing catch-up on your videos so I'm a bit late on my comments. Your video is very helpful. Sometimes I'm not too sure where the best location to stay is, so I use higher hotel prices to zero in on the more desirable areas and work from there. I also appreciate your tips to assimilate the reviews into something meaningful. Keep up the great content.

Thanks for all of the useful tips. Are there any specific hotel chains would you recommend for Europe that offer loyalty programs? Do you know of any hostels geared towards older travellers?

There are a few chains of hostels, but most are independent, so specific recommendations would depend on where you’re going. I would say though as someone firmly in my 40s that age hasn’t been an issue. _Most_ of the travelers you’ll meet at hostels are 21-30, but 35+ folks are common enough and you’ll even meet a few seniors. Hostelling International has a special membership rate for people over 55, so canonically there’s no age limit or even expectation.

in my opinion Google Maps has too many scam reviews becouse Google pretty often blocking bad reviews but never blocking good reviews. there are too many useless reviews because many companies are buying good reviews

I would e careful about exchanging work for free accommodation. Some countries will consider that “work” and would require some type of work visa. People could be refused entry with a ban to entry for a period. Then the person may have a hard time visiting other countries.
