Today I woke up in a grumpy mood. I was grumpy all day. Thinking I'm such a nice person then why do people force me to not be one by taking my kindness for granted. I remember being in the hospital looking at my residual limb after my leg was amputated , thinking ," Will I still be ME ?" At that very moment, my nurse came through the door and I said something that made her smile . And I immediately thought to myself ," Yep, I am still ME " It occurred to me that who I am is deep inside of my being , I am who I am with or without my leg .
