I agree that she is lovely and wonderfully unique. However, I can assure you men long to be enough as we are, and not seen as just providers or strong internally or stoic or a rock or what have you. Look at society today and see how many men are driven by achievement and recognition instead of being truly peaceful within themselves. "Bitter min" as they say in Afrikaans.

@@CLine-zj1et You come across as to be on your high horse, responding with one phrase in your original comment, and then added one single line in answer to my response to you. But I will add a few, so there can be a conversation (isn't this why you posted your comment on a platform in the first place and responded again) I for one didn't get your response in regard to this video. The lady just explains about her life, no referral to ancestry, reincarnation, 'spirituality', etc.... Secondly, I have journeyed through Buddhism now to Daoism from an early age. At a very young age and later in my life as well I experienced generational trauma, and forms of spirituality that are hard to explain, but were about guidance. Also Satori has made me come home, experiencing non-duality. This is all not important, for it is my road, we all have unique roads to travel. There is a lot of pretentious talk about 'love peace and happiness, being all spiritual and connected'; tbh I often miss these not talking the talk, but walking the walk. As Jung said: "One does not become enlightened by making figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious'". Still curious what you meant with your comment after watching the video. Wishing you the best on your journey

Solitude is a blessing 🙏 ✨ 🙌 💖 ❤ 💕 Loneliness is a messy and painful place where you have to find your own unique heart's knowledge and delight. You can be joyous by looking at everything that is beautiful, it is a blessing, and slowly and steadily becoming more present in the mystery of living in each precious moment of being alive. Forgive the past and don't seek answers from the future. Life is precious and fragile and immediate. You are creating with your own unique focused attention. Be present in the mystery and follow your own dream and your passions of being alive with love and kindness for yourself and your life now, as it is now. Enjoy the blessings around you. Trust yourself and believe in yourself and your life. Nature is healing. Love is always the way of being alive with joyous celebration. Breathe in and out and stay grounded in the present moment. Simply being present and unafraid. Relax. Do what you love.

I believe that behavior indicates or demonstrates that each person is a product of their own life experience. If someone is a bully, it is, usually, because they were bullied. And, so, they have learned to get others first, before they get bullied again. They have armed themselves. It's very sad. I try to consider what may have happened to a person to make them who they are in the present moment. That 'knowing' or understanding fills me with compassion. And I pray for them. 💕

Her statement that she lost her father at 12 years of age and that her family became adrift after his passing is very thought provoking. In this 24/7 world where everything is fast paced and where a person's success is measured by their income and material possessions, I wonder how many of today's children feel emotionally and spiritually adrift - feel as if their world is not anchored. Not because they do not have loving parents but because both parents are working to give their children a lifestlye that is deemed correct and beneficial by society.

This episode really resonated with me! Having grown up in the sixties, then with a father who changed totally with a series of strokes, I’ve just realised how much I had to blend in, become colourless so as not to upset anyone. I too don’t know who I am anymore and am tired of being something I’m not. But what struck me the most was how much colour there is in this lady’s life! She is beautiful, her house is beautiful and so is the absolutely stunning place she lives in. I’ve realised From watching this that I am still colourless and have even stopped reading books over the last few years. I am a nothing and it needs to change before it’s too late! Thank you for once again presenting us with such a wonderful episode.

"I fell into the trap of looking outside of myself instead of looking within" I relate to so much of this. From losing my father at the age of 14, which was a huge loss in my life. After that I also didn't seem to have a compass leading me in the right direction. I too got into drugs and alcohol to not feel or see within me. I dealt with a lot of self image issues, an obsession with my weight. Such an awful way to live, never loving yourself or accepting yourself. I truly relate to Beth. I also was a teen in the 60's . I was very heavy. Most people did not have weight problems . I also was taking diet pills , trying diet fads. I tried it all. Nothing worked. Plus I also worked in the family business and that was "Fast food" . When my dad bought another fast food joint I got "50" pounds heavier. I should have quit but getting a different kind of job was not so easy back in that time. People did not want to hire you being very large. Plus I felt I would be letting my family down by not helping them . Self respect, image confidence it all was gone and still is. I did lose the weight . Thank you Beth. I also love books.

She's so softly but beautifully spoken. As well as a beautiful human it seems. Quite pretty. It seems she's found a peaceful life joy contintement. A lovely and loving life partner. I like to say she found her "person". We all don't find that.... I'm 59 and still haven't found my "person" or my containment/joy/peace in life. Where she lives looks very soothing calm and quaint as well. Which would be so lovely. I dream of moving to a cottage somewhere. But life doesn't always afford what we want. I love this story, can relate so much. And feel so much happiness for her that she has abundance. Be bold and stay blessed 🦋🐦🦋🐦❣️

Ok, first...what a great opening line! (Kudo's to the editor - made me immediately love her!) Beth - you speak for so many of us...all the precious life energy we spent thinking about & trying to be thin, to squeeze ourselves into cartoon-like images of who we were told to be, the limited kinds of lives we were conditioned to go after, how our focus was always without, not within. I related SO much to everything you said. Daughter of a dad employed by Disneyland for 60 years now, I grew up watching all the movies telling me to wait for the Prince to come swoop me away. And, like you, my first marriage seemed to be all about working out my daddy issues. You described the experience of being lost so well, how there's no making sense of life when you've done everything you thought you should do but you're dying inside, and how when you're in the middle of it, the pain of it feels way too big to find words for. But women like you, Beth, become the compass for the next generation. Because you pressed on past the pain and found your way, others can see what's possible. (I did NOT see where this story was headed...what helped you - that part of the film was such a surprise and delight!) Freedom looks good on you, girlfriend. You radiate beauty and light. And your story is already going out into the world impacting so many of us. Thank you. And Michael, the beauty you capture with your camera is other worldly - transcendent. Once again...a well deserved "Bravo" to you all.

Thank you Beth Hunt for your sharing of your life and your own personal journey with self care and love. We all have to learn to take care of ourselves and not comparing ourselves to others. Inner work on our own unique soul's purpose is a very important part of our journey with respect for ourselves and the ability to live in a healthy and creative way. This matter is a very important thing for us to understand. We have to be proud to be independent, individuals who are unique and constantly changing and evolving. Beautiful and totally inspirational…. I grew up in the 60’s , both my parents didn’t know how to show parent love ..I missed out on that . I hopped into a convenient marriage aged 19, ended aged 23 . I married a man who loved me for ME , I lost him suddenly and tragically after 12 years . We have a beautiful son now age 26 and stepping out for his own life…i am SO proud of the man he has become. I am FREE now to be ME …of course I am always there for him firsthand..and that will never change . I would love to re marry a beautiful soul and share a beautiful life with the love miss so much in my life . I guess I’ve felt most of my life that I wasn’t worthy of honest love …having lost that previously in my life . There’s time I know at age 62 …and I continue to manifest that love towards me in abundance. Thank you for this reality. ❤

I was a teenager in the 60s …..pregnant at 16 , married at 17 …three children by 21 . My husband left me at 27 for a young girl …never supported us at all . I brought them all up alone . At 37 I fell in love again …I was married for 25 years and at age 58 he threw me from our marital home because he also found someone else ( not good for the ego ) I was resigned to be alone ….but I bumped into a “ boy “ I had known when I was 14 ….we’ve had 10 happy happy years together now …we live separately but spend lots of time together ……don’t ever give up hope ❤❤ it’s never too late . The first husband that left us looked like Georgia Best back in the day ….he now looks like a gnome 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Of course I still look like Sandie Shaw 😉💃

Thank you, this really spoke to me. My life story has some similarities, but from a male perspective. While she relied on her male partner for so much and felt she had to look a certain way, I had to be a provider, never stumble, constantly on edge waiting for my ex wife to take my kids out of spite or create more chaos in my life while I paid my child support for so many years. And, men too have body image issues, thinking if we aren’t thin enough and muscular enough or look young enough we cannot find love - at least, that has been the case for me. Finally bring free to be me is an evolution, much as the tightly coiled pedals of a rose begin opening and trusting their environment, soaking the sun and rain, surviving pests, but their thorns are always present until someone plucks them, and cuts those thorns off… 🤔

Free to be me and be truly abundantly authentic!!! Yes so true we are how we think and feel. The inner is neglected by most and the outer external influences takes on the most importance. I was born in the 60"s so my Mum had much of this mindset and I took some of it on too. Takes decades to break the cycle handed down the generations. I am very different now. A new calmer version who's more comfortable inside and out of myself more than I was at any age! Thanks for sharing!!🙏😇

Authentic is one of my favorite words too. Isn't it crazy that we often need so much time to realize what really matters?! A big one of it is being authentic. Not money or material things. I'm glad KZbin recommended me this channel. I've been on my inner transformation journey for 2 1/2 years now at 33 years old (the age for this journey does not matter). The beginning was horrific and I didn't think I would survive it. I was suffering so much. But it was part of my journey and these days I feel a peace inside of me that I have never felt before. I'm following my true path for the very first time in my life and that is happiness to me. I've been freeing myself from the past, from toxic relationships, from toxic work places and, most importantly, from resentment and guilt. It is inner work and I believe this is a life long journey. I'm ready because the route becomes the destination. Remember that we learn the most important lessons during the hardest times of your lives.Turn pain into purpose and your life will transform in a positive way you would have never imagined!

My journey continues and has gained momentum in the last two years after physical and mental health breakdown. I am switching from trying to achieve to be the best me to be the me-est me.
