I love watching you guys. Since I was born in ‘76 I feel like I can relate more to your humor and, well, everything, lol. I love that you guys are doing longer and more in-depth videos. It was sad seeing those wishbones. When I stayed with my granny, every time she would cook a chicken she would call me into the kitchen to wish on the wishbone with her.

I remember taping the top 20 hits off the radio and the dj was Alan Fluff Freeman. What an interesting man the owner must of been. All that belongs in a museum. You two make my day, hilarious xx sift and shake and put the grandad back omg can't stop laughing....need oxygen lol. The blue thing on the wall,in the kitchen was to dispense tea leaves xx

That chap probably did serve in Greece. My dad was offered a commission at the end of the war but it meant he would have to go to Greece because the British army were trying to sort out their civil war. The AEU was the Amalgamated Engineering Union. They merged with another union and became the Amalgamated Engineering and Electrical Union. It was such a small house with such a lot of memories in it. Sad. Thanks for another very enjoyable explore 😊

I’ll have to look into Patreon, I’ve been thinking about joining for a couple of months but just not got round to doing it. If this man was in the war, or in the SBS or SAS, can you imagine the stories he could tell. He really is a hero, and put his life on the line for us to live freely today. God bless him. I can imagine when he was alive it was probably lovely and warm with all those fires 🔥 going. It’s a bloody shame that this house has been trashed yet again by morons. It really really annoys me. Where are the grandchildren, or his children? You’d at least pick up all his personal belongings and photographs, etc. So so sad 😞.

I'm hearing but my husband is deaf. When he uses sign language he IS speaking, just through his hands. That's why it's called a "language". We also had an interpreter there to say his words out loud for family and friends that didn't know sign language. Once you sign your name on the marriage certificate, you're legally married, regardless of what words are spoken or signed!

This is the 3rd time I’ve seen this abandoned house and it seems to be getting worse each time. It definitely is a man because on the fireplace was an empty champagne bottle that said happy birthday grandad on your 90th birthday. Very sad to see how time and decay takes over. Another great video. Thank you guys 💙💙

After I saw the name on the the war book you found and the empty violin case I looked into this name and I found a piece about a symphony orchestra and I’ve hilighted a piece which could be this man. Ernest Aubusson Violin Award “Purchased by the orchestra with money generously given to the orchestra in memory of the late Ernest Aubusson, a good quality violin has been bought. The instrument is to be loaned to student members deserved of such an instrument.” Such a shame if this is how his home has been left.

Andy, you remind me of my Grandad, he’s all I see when I’m watching you and without sounding weird, it’s lovely , great explore, lovely that that little book showed his military achievement, the “ Africa Star, reminded me that my Dad earned a “Burma Star”during his time in the Royal Navy, he was for a time on the “ Ark Royal” so proud of him, Matt your laughing is just like Muttley and so infectious 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 we used to collect milk bottles tops for the Blind Association and they weighed them in for funds, also the “ Stagg beetle reminds me of the time I found one and put it in my pocket ( I was 15 at the time) called for my friend Sally and told her to get something out of my pocket, she screamed so loud that her Dad heard her and when he realised what I’d done , he told me to “piss off home” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’m 66 now and I’ve never seen another Stagg beetle since, theyr fab creatures ( soz I cant help going off on a tangent 🐾🥰🐾🥰🐾🥰🤣🥰

I would love to meet you guys you are the best tbh. The kings of banter and comedy in my opinion. Andy has an idea tbh, not buttons though Matt as you hate them but if you do challenges people will pay to see them so why not. These videos with you exploring these old houses are the best as you rummage through the stuff and make laughs about them ha ha. When Matt said about the Sheet music i thought Andy was going to say exactly shit music I was waiting for it. TB is Tuberculosis .... Andy was on form in this one .. Do the shake and vac and put the granddad back was hilarious and its his face too. Me and my sister still wish on wish bones when she makes the dinners ... My mum passed away last March, she had Alzheimer's but one day she had a massive fall and had to have an op on her pelvis as she had broken it. She didnt die from the Alzheimer's she died as she couldnt get over the operation. She was put on palliative care and passed away days after the op. So sad as you see your once strong minded relative deteriorate ... Great explore once again guys with laughs ... xxx

Most of us Vets ( yes! Many are women too!) DO get forgotten, but in truth we don't do the job to be a hero always remembered. Our job is to protect. Simple. We risk our own lives for everyone else's. That's not heroic no matter how it seems. It's stupid. Stupid because humans just do not learn.
